I got a really great answer from Jason at Horizon. It’s on their video on their channel. It totally makes sense now because this new edf is sucking some major juice.
Flight tested, crash tested. Way to go the extra mile for the viewers! Very cool.

I loved the first version. It had its flaws.. This one will be in my hangar.
The old UMX A-10 was my first FPV plane 😆 I can’t wait to experience the 3s power on this one.
I have the first one and it is 3S. Just doesn't have the reinforced nose which sucks if I don't land it properly. So far so good though.
@@TheFrenchPug and…that’s the reason mines isn’t flying anymore 😆 I got frustrated repairing the damn nose so many times.
@@leyvonnewashlv4096 Hmmm. I could reinforce it with carbon Fibre strips but it would look bad on the outside. I crunched my first one but bought it through Amazon. They let me exchange it but I got V1 instead of V2. Flies great. But if I stuff it I know I need lots of fixy fixy. Oh well. Good to know they left some of us hanging with the old versions. So nice of them. I ordered some Foam Tac glue. Supposed to be the best for this foam. We'll hopefully not see. Right now I'm tearing up the baseball field skies with the new Pits S-1 3S. Thing is a blast and flies super tight with unlimited vertical. Get one if you haven't!

A tad less zoom action on the UMX's, was like chasing an eye floater! LMAO... Looks like a fast twitchy high performance micro edf, nose dive at fast increase throttle input acts like my Seawind, just the nature of those types of motor placements. Cool bird, thanks

Hello, if I get this can I still use my remote I got with the Aeroscout 1.1? It’s a 6 ch DXe transmitter with safe.
You should still be able to use the dxe www.spektrumrc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdId=SPM1000
@@PilotRyanMedia thanks for the reply. My dxe has a little s on the front of it too. My remote does not have the extra switches like the one in your link. My remote came with the rtf version of the aeroscout s 1.1 so I’m still not sure if it’s compatible

Set mine up by book,hand launched in safe,it vered left nose dived and broke nose off,not happy,Got any ideas thinking about laying battery flat fits OK.
Not sure. Make sure the surfaces are trimmed straight

Great flying. Can't believe hpw eflite are changing the battery all the time from the usually recognised systems everyone already has. It's a case of "buy our planes but you'll also need to buy everything else spektrum" specific charger, specific battery for charger, different battery for various planes, "oh but we also sell an adapter" i love their planes but I've had enough of all this changing something that works...
Try getting a multi module TX and solder leads of your preference onto the plane.
