- The convoy of Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh was ambushed by armed militants in Kangpokpi district on Monday, in which one security person was injured. According to sources from the Chief Minister's office, the convoy was en route to Jiribam district from Imphal when it came under attack along the National Highway-37 around 10.30 am.

Manipur has been in turmoil these past years and Jiribam was calm and free the conflict started when a Kuki youth was missing and found death which follows .... why is the Manipur police or CM convoy attacked? It is because the government of Manipur is openly doing war against the Kuki of Manipur. Guns looted in the armoury are not looted it is given by the government of Manipur. One thing people should know is only 1% of the Manipur police are police the rest are Arambai and insurgents of meitei groups. Today's attack was carried out so because they are reinforcement forces to help fight the Kuki of Jiribam. CM convoy may be there but during this time why does the CM want to go by road to Jiribam and let him fly on the road? Did he think he was loved by the people even his people don't like him don't expect from your enemy.
