Had just broken up with my girlfriend and despite everything people have said about bex, when my friend told bexey about my heartbreak in between songs, he didcated his next song to the heartbreak. The whole time he was jamming and connecting with the rest of my crew in the front row. It was also Yawns birthday and I got to share a bottle of henny with the crew on stage. A very magical night. The whole vibe changed when peep came out on stage. His stage fright or something else, its sad man. A beautiful artist. No one should have to be subjected to the same type of mental struggle that peep went through. RIP GUS. I love you forever.

Having to manage friendships, relationships, and all the while dealing with issues of identity that influence all of the above. He was looked up to as a star, an icon, someone who could solve eveeryones problems but in reality I think he didn't even know how to solve his own. That kind of mental struggle. Being placed into a role of supreme influence and responsibility that he wasn't prepared for.
i fucking love how he sounds live though. no shade to his official uploads, but live his voice is deeper and you can really feel what hes saying yknow? and fyi, i didnt know about him before he passed. but i didnt find him because of that nor word of mouth. i remember going on spotify and listening to x, i knew about him before he passed and a song came on named teen romance by lil peep. i nearly skipped, but hearing a few more seconds i fell in love and decided to listen to more of his work. skip forward a year and im listening to one of his songs that only have 3.5K views. but also when i found put he has passed i had so much self hate, i wish i knew him sooner. i wish i had gone to a concert or venue. skip forward another month and my girlfriend of 6 months broke up with me and a month later got with another man. peeps music really helped me through that and is currently helping me through self harm. i love you peep 💕
