Did Jay Slater get down to Masca Beach to the JETTY for a boat?

- In recent years, the Masca Gorge was closed. After the reopening in 2023, there was no more boat traffic between Masca beach and Los Gigantes, so the end of this hike did not work. In March 2023, a new boat dock was completed in Masca. It is expected that in the next few months boat traffic between Masca and Los Gigantes will resume.

The route down to masca Gorge has steps and guide ropes at the side going down. You can pay to have a guide take you down with a group. 3 hours down to the beach and jetty.

two different routes are being described. the path down to the jetty at Masca is easy, but the path where Jay's phone pinged (Barranco Juan Lopez) leads to a dead end of cliffs and cacti where ropes have to be used, apparently, to het down to the beach.
When there was no sound on the BBC interview, I found the clip right away on the BBC website just to make absolutele sure ... but that I ever doubted you ;)
You don't generally turn boat tracking systems off unless the crew is up to something. Be that collecting or dropping off illegal substances or illegal fishing or something.

But interesting all the same, particularly regarding shipping regulations, and lots of intriguing seabearing info, including covering the ongoing 'arrest' and seizure of Putin's superyacht and all kinds of rich oligarchs, etc.
Probably not Jay's type of connections, though.
There is a lady on you tube who talks about jays disappearance and the second half she plays a recording of two guys hiking the area, and there were two water tunnels they walked through to the beach which is very chalky due to the water, but they sat by the sea on the secluded beach, Only 1.5hours boat ride away from lanzorote.
I feel like what she was indicating was his pH was dead not that he didn't physically have a pH????!!
I sent the latest and most credible information to all of the mainstream newspaper and television outlets and the idea that they are so heavily promoting this Masaca Beach boat angle is interesting to me particularly because there were other evidences actually showing real activity which may very possibly be related to Jay -in town- not in the mountains, where everything on the 'Jay is Missing, in Tenerife -Official' website, administered by Brad's mother Rachel Hargreaves, only posts 'missing in the mountains' related information and refuses to show any CCTV camera or anything else related to town.
So they either have solid information and thus are fully aware that he truly did venture into the mountains, and if so, then what information? Or they are leading us away from the scene of the crime! Which looks very likely, to me!
How did me manage to get over there if experienced walkers struggle how did he get to the point to where he slipped from
It mentioned Jay and Ayub waking upto a buzzer which was the doorbell, but there is no doorbell on the Airbnb
How do you know? Most homes have a doorbell, what if you are upstairs, or in the shower?

I’m pretty certain his mates stole the boat and jay ditched the Airbnb to go for a cruise. He shared his location and they said get to the coast and we’ll get you. Lucy said he’s not at the church we “know where he is” then quickly changed her story. I’ve a feeling they possibly watched him falling on FaceTime. Obviously the police told them not to say anything to keep unskilled searcher away from a highly dangerous terrain. The gofund me money should be given to the Spanish police and searchers that recovered his body.
So Hayley says that she was told that Lucy had two phones. That wouldn't surprise me, as many do ... especially when you work in Lucy's line of work ...

Imo Lucy and Brad know more, I believe that both of them when on those calls (where Jays phone was on 1%) he told them he was on the run from the two guys in the AirBnB and they are both far to scared to speak out about it, I don’t believe they’re responsible for what happened to Jay, just that their to scared to speak out 😔

@@trishaG Apparently, with the early onset of migraine the digestive system closes down and cannot absorb nutrients or medications. From an extremely good source who found great success, and shared his discovery with famous people suffering migraines, who also agreed.

Yes they started when i was 17 they would make me sick but then it went. I just have a hme made smoothie r just fluids. I also have a thery ref psychic attack and migraines. I have had years when i didnt get them .

I've heard that there is a fairly challenging route down to the beach, where it's quite difficult going back up again on the way back. This apparently does not need ropes.
I've heard there's a website or websites where they describe the route.
It would appear that Milly Maguire and co. are checking various routes. Apparently they rescued a sick wild dog yesterday.
I don't understand how there is a route to the beach, but Paul Arnott has not done it. I don't understand this.
Looking on a maps app that shows all the various trails, it does seem NOT show any route to a beach.
If I had more time, I would find the website(s) that details the route.
In any case, I cannot see how Jay could possibly make it down to a beach, especially in his state after 3 days partying.
That's my point infact he was there from the 13th, so probably partying longer than 3 days. Plus people go with guides and equipment.
@@trishaG Indeed! Most of us could get to the end of that path, but after that I would be going nowhere, unless I saw a trail on my maps app ... and even then, if it looked difficult, I would read up on the route, and no doubt go on a guided trip as you're meant to.
It's like this, I can't even see Jay continuing past that path. There was no way he was in any condition to go further. I could be wrong, but he'd be shattered after the partying.
@@DABmonger There is a set route with signs, distances, elevations, some roped hand holds to aid along boulder sections, and it appears fun and not particularly dangerous. I read one report from a hiker who described it as not challenging.
@@ArcticnickI've heard the same on some channel, but I feel the salient point is that Jay would've likely been toiling long before he got to the end of the marked path IMO.
But an open mind has to be kept, and there's been several volunteers checking daily, and now we have this Dutch team coming in.
Let's see what happens over the next few days.

The mail online suggest taking about five hours to sail to the Moroccan coastline. It's absolutely BS:
In my opinion, it's almost criminal negligence suggesting the time it takes to get to the nearest coastline in Morocco. the 5 hours. It tells us is the times of the scheduled ferry and not in a sailboat! So to intentionally combine those two things in the same report is very clearly disingenuous and imo no mistake.
