To say that Usher is the king is to say that you put him on the same pedestal as Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke it makes no sense when you know the history of R&B Usher is just one of the best students of 'a school where R.Kelly is the principal. R. structured and built contemporary R&B through his vision, what he embodied and his music where he is essentially the author, composer, producer and arranger.
Besides, Jermaine Dupri who made Usher his 3 classic albums tells you himself that R.Kelly represents 65% of R&B and also Diddy who also played a role in his formation tells you that R.Kelly is the king, it It's not because R.Kelly is in prison that the throne is vacant.
