The person who was cheated on usually will give them a second chance because they hope it’ll work out again and their partner will change for the better. In the end if someone cheats on you just leave. There’s no excuse to cheat on someone unless you were being held at gunpoint lol.

i never understand people who stay with the people that cheated on them. ESPECIALLY when they aren’t sorry about it.
I think there are ppl that can definitely come back from cheating, especially if they are married and/or have kids they can reconcile and come back stronger, but being with someone who is not sorry about it is a no-go.
apparently the majority of couples actually stay together after an affair. seems wild, but i guess when the guilty party takes responsibility, is actually apologetic and makes an effort to change, it can be the start of a new positive chapter.

True lots of people stay in unhappy marriages because leaving is much harder in the short term, but also lots of couples have to consider lots of other factors and try to make it work between themselves before calling it quits.
