Nick, I watched Homeward Bound with my 5.5 month old pup Tito last night. He was watching tv. So decided to find something he’d enjoy. Seen it on Netflix and played it. He literally watched it for a good 30mins before dozing off. My 6month old Joezy was in bed with my lady and barked over the dogs on the movie but she never left the bed, clearly she realized it was the tv. Funny you should mention pulling the chute with a car behind you. Back in '61 a friend of mine had a VW Bug w/350 chevy in it. Was hard to get both of us in.. and the story gets a little funny when a highway patrol pulled us over while we were doing some pulls.. He decided to pull the chute when the HP pulled behind us.. landing on the patrol car. To protect the innocent, I will only say his dad owned the largest car dealer in that state and supplied all their vehicles. Of course, the cop let us go... after a big laugh. Yes, this is a totally true story. So I say... go for it !!!! If, you ever get pulled over.

As a warning diode dynamics have a very very known failure rate. I’m coming from new Subaru and mustang platforms and legit them markers every set I’ve seen bought have had LEDs die very early. Be ready to change them very often. They are good about sending replacements but it’s just a pain.

Due to editing, not sure how long you waited between pulls. Not a big fan of making multiple nitrous pulls in succession. Things get hot, real hot. Combustion chamber hot spots, valves and head gaskets retain a lot of heat. Oil thins and the upper rod bearing pounds on the journal, especially with spark knock. When you do have to tear it down, post some video of the back sides of the upper rod bearings, I would suspect they will be very black and "smudged" in appearance. Also, the very center of the upper rod bearing, on the throw side of the bearing, will be hammered a bit. Just my opinion, let the thing cool down between pulls and parts will live longer, especially at high hp levels. Hard to tell from the audio, but the tune sounds pretty clean on the pull. Good luck and I appreciate the time it takes making the videos.
