Hi Dave.. these videos are pure Gold on method your method. im 52 ive gone back to basics and the result as made me smile thank you far far away from any pub player i play for pleasure and il tell you why because of my number Dyscalculia im so glad i found your vids on board management its started to take its shape and install the information inside my head . i also make notes with pen paper from your methods structured practise is helping me get my confidence back on the oche .i was born in 1972 and there wasnt no information back then regarding Dyscalculia , so for anyone who struggles like myself Go watch board management vid, the double double makes the information go into the brain and makes you understand the method ect. anyway love your channel and really appreciated you took the time out of family work life to help others around the world btw im from the uk .Best advice from a good guy on youtube . hope your in good health stay blessed!!! Dyscalculia sucks bigtime so for anyone who suffers with it you have my heart .Top channel Top bloke !!!

Hi Buddy its so good to know i have helped you it's a massive passion for me coaching, its way better than being a pro player unless money is all you care about of course lol.
I too suffer from a form of number dysphoria and its one of the reasons i started work on the DD way well over a decade ago i struggled so much with the way the old school players finished and the logic seemed flawed to me. So i set off on my journey of finishing my way the DD way I got called all the names under the sun both in the pub and on line. And till do lol by the very same plonkers who stand on the oche scratching their heads and asking the ref "err what do i want now" lol. The DD way boosts confidence and that means you hit more and feel good about it. Cheers D Dave...

I only started playing in September 2021 after a spinal cord injury put me off work and I instantly fell in love with the game I am obviously not very good at the minute but you have definitely helped me on the road to improvement and I thank you for that.

Thanks, mate. I kept my own aim style but just tried your stance and my scoring and doubles improved immediately. I use the dart counter app and last night I really struggled to beat the Bot opponent on easiest settings, but after using YOUR stance, I just beat the bot EASILY on the same settings. I am now going to subscribe. Thanks again, mate.

Dave, love the video and getting back to basis I hope will improve my darts again. There are a few things we all get away from, thinking it's helping our throw because in the short term it does. The change may have helped but it may be doing the opposite in the long term if you don't recognize other issues that may show up because of even the smallest of change. Thanks once again!!!!!!

Love your videos Dave! Played in my early twenties, quit going to pubs and just stopped throwing.
Now at 50 I’m throwing again and doing pretty well. No bad habits to break, so I started back like a beginner from the ground up. Of course I’ve watched Mardle, Aspinall, Wright and so on but I like your theory and method. Will look into some internet coaching with you when time permits.
    Cheers 🍻 from the US.

Hi Buddy and thanks for the top comment.
You have had the same journey as i would say 80+% of players i coach buddy and here is a little wisdom. You can watch a thousand players from MVG to the guy in the pub and most will have had the same start in darts, when you start to play someone hands you a set and you just fling them at the board you mite get good you may be lucky but to become great you would have to spend years perfecting a throw riddled with anomalies. And the worse bit of all is it just disappears as you get older your muscle density tone and memory starts to dull over the years and getting all the elements in your throw/Stance right becomes harder and more and more frustrating so how i see it goes like this.
If there is a right way to throw a football, a right way to swing a golf club, a right way to kick a soccer ball, swing a baseball bat. You get my drift then there is a right way to address the board and a right way to throw a dart. Todays perceived wisdom is tomorrows history my DD finishes are common sense and are creeping into the elite game nearly every game on TV now has someone attempting and hitting the Dynamite Dave DD finishes.

@@DynamiteDaveLlewellyn it’s really just for fun and I have been bashing my mates pretty good but I am so detail oriented that it drives me crazy when I don’t know something and want to perfect it badly. I throw at least an hour a day with some being great and some not as great. Consistency and accuracy are my goals. I can close out the numbers in a game of cricket rather quickly and then just draw circles around the bull taking forever to close them because of inconsistent throwing.
      Fun but frustrating.
      Thanks for the great reply.

I am here for anyone who wants to improve i love this game with a massive passion and this is what drove me to find the right way to throw darts. I spent two and a half years researching and developing this DD way studying body mechanics to find the best way a human can stand and throw. I now have hundreds of thousands of players world wide who watch my videos and throw in the DD way. I hope you will become one of them and do you know how to tell this is the real deal its cost you nothing whatsoever... Cheers Dynamite Dave...

The DD way works for all player shape size gender makes no difference buddy give it a go i think you will be amazed Watch the moving the throw around the board video you will get a lot from that alone. and if you have a personal coaching video it would be the best £50.00 you've ever spent on darts.
      Cheers D Dave.

It's good advice so far, though I don't know what I might gain by shifting my weight onto my front foot. I have to figure that out. I come from other precision sports -- rifle, archery, petanque, etc., -- so I have an understanding that finest precision comes with finest balance. When I see the players in the PDC videos leaning far over their front feet I have to wonder what the heck is wrong with them and why they think they should do that. But obviously they win their matches.

Hi Dave, I have tried standing like this in league play and practice at home but find that it actually hurts my back to stand like that for any length of time. What I have done to help is that I stand with one foot slightly twisted so my heel is ever so slightly twisted away from the oche but my toe is dead on. I also come up a little bit with my back foot but not in a way that I am swaying a lot in the throw. Is there something else you could recommend that might not hurt my back (flat feet and other undiagnosed back issues. I am overweight but not grotesquely so). I greatly appreciate it and have already learned a lot from you. Cheers! BTW, I'm from the USA

Hi Buddy dont over rotate as you feel the stop use your upper body like a gun turret on a tank but only ever pivot at the hips as you feel the stop just adjust your aim by simply moving from the hips till the dart goes where your wanting it to. Hope this helps if not just shout and i will help more cheers D Dave...
