How come you can't tune?...I thought that the C8 computer has been cracked? Or has GM made deals with certain tuning companies?
yes HP tuners has a solution. but they haven't let ME tune it.

Agree. No matter what happens for the rest of time, Jeremy is a weird dude. He knows we ALL want to see that. But he posts about trash no one really cares about. Again. Weird. its not integrated into the PCM and that's what's on the car. Surely an electronic would be superior
Now question even if it is direct injection when the fuel pressure drops shouldn’t that be a lean condition because it’s not able to keep up with the volumetric demand from boost pressure rising where I guess is the window of safety or is that lean condition technically a possibility of damage I know your not beating on it and it’s not got street load. I’ve just seen the same happen and cause problems on stock hyprotective powder metal rods with just a spurt of lean condition sorry if my question lacked structure and is more than one. Or is the drop 5 psi 10 psi out of 50 psi and I know the ecu is only compensating for what it can see and what the factory map sensor can see which is a bit over atmospheric pressure somewhere around 14.6 and it’s getting more air that what it would normally see. So I’d that why the spark advance is so low because the stock computer is pulling the timing to keep it safe when it sees fuel pressure drop or as a reaction to the rising manifold pressure or both. Sorry to nerd out just trying to make sense of certain thoughts.
well this car has factory Wideband's and its closed loop AFR at WOT. the fuel pressure is dropping 1000s of psi and thus widening the injector pulse to the point of it missing its CORRECT injection point. Th timing was setup from whomever tuned it, very conservatively. the timing is not related to fuel psi drop, its just a separate issue minimizing power output
@@Fasterproms1 ok I see I got what you were saying about the pulse width window being wider as it dropped in pressure making it miss its window or not meeting the correct point targeted. And thank you so two separate issues related to making power but not correlative or causative of one another and that makes since that would be consider a static timing curve right that’s set or targeted rather than the computer like a stock car adjusting the spark advance with in a map of spark with a much broad map window or range of value I guess. And setting conservative conditions is just playing further into the realm of safe then. Ok makes a lot of since I was really bugged about it being psi and timing was a correlative safety function or something like that

I have nothing to hide. Work was done correctly and honestly and had been driving around for months. He did a burnout and popped a head gasket. I had multiple conversations with the guy and he wanted us to port the heads and do more stuff and then never heard from him and then this video. The world I'm from if there's a problem you go to the person you have the problem with and address it rather than BSing on the internet and making up a bunch of stuff with no basis.
@@Fasterproms1 so why did truck have stock injectors in it?
@@1badglide I just looked at the tune and it has stock LT4 injectors in it. I remember we tested out an experimental set of modified injectors and they didn’t work and then we settled on the LT4s which I believe were my wife’s. We had a few problems with other aspects of the build and did our due diligence to ensure that things were right
