WDM3D engines accelerate hard from 0-110kmph with great track sounds: 12223 LTT ERS Duronto Express

After an unscheduled halt at Kanhangad railway station, 12223 Mumbai Ernakulam Duronto Express starts off and accelerates hard on the mainline with twin WDM3D diesel engines chugging at full throttle. Later skips Nileshwaram and Charvattur railway stations.
The train had halted since the 22609 Mangalore Coimbatore Intercity Express was just ahead.

divine chugging, mad acceleration and best track sound show by alcos . 160 KM capable and very few outside the EMD concept D loco and with permitted speed of 130 KM with 3300HP , WDM3D is great achievement by IR by recycling WDM 2 and 2A. We TN and kerala are proud that dedicated D sheds GOC and ERS having unique coloured D locos and in few months time all these monsters will be history. Thanks sir.
