Thank you for this video, I have the same problem. The only time I tried to use "return home" the drone flew away and hit a tree, I was very lucky to find it in the tree. An arm was broken, and I managed to fix it. I disassembled the drone, and the printed circuit inside was labeled LGLS X38RX2 which seems to point to other similar drones. Emergency stop is a problem indeed, and I often end with removing the battery. I will try your method next time. Thank you.
Can you help me make sure if I have a problem with the drone? The video recording through the remote works for me, only if the app is connected to the drone, otherwise I cannot record video through the remote, and there is no response to pressing the recording button (top left button) on the remote, except that makes a small beep, but does not start recording unless the application is connected at the time, but if the phone is not working, it does not start recording video to the card at all Does it work like that for you too?

Compass, where it will stay north south east west of you the whole time, or 'string' type where it slides away and the only follow from behind? And will it do a return-to-controller(phone) if you press the home button while in follow-me mode or after using follow-me? My L109 Pro for example will do a return-to-controller in or after follow-me. And that is excellent. Because I don't want having to race back before a truck runs over my drone! Can you use the sticks in follow-me mode to position it where you want? My S188 only follows from one short distance which is useless! Soon I move the sticks it goes out of follow-me mode. I think the app is what determines how the follow-me function works. Programmers often do a bad job.
Follow - me isn't really fund of mine, when it is in distance & u walk away, the camera will start to follow u when u reach to the corner of the picture. Follow from ur back like shown on advertisement, I didn't try it because I think u need the drone to b close to u where u can't check because it's at your back, so.... dangerous, maybe it will work but u guess it won't fly smoothly, it might fly towards and brake simultaneously
BTW if u r looking for a drone which meet expectations I don't think kf106 max is the choice... I don't know about they hv fix those problems or do some upgrade or not, if they do then good luck to those who bought. Mine is the 1st version, I bought right after it launched
@@raiden9335 I already have too many drones. I would only buy one more if the follow-me worked like my L109 Pro, but with a better camera. Unfortunately the Chinese haven't come up with a budget follow-me drone yet. If only they would listen to me. I know exactly how it should look like. Nice and small. Probably with EIS instead of a gimbal so it is easier to carry in my pocket. Return-to-controller option etc. Audio sounds so you can also hear where it is. I'm pretty sure they would sell a lot.
@@raiden9335 My F11 4k does a reasonably good follows-me. But at low battery I immediately wants to return home to where it took off. I can't cancel it! I can force it with the sticks to land closer to where I am at that moment. But very difficult to control and land safely. It shows those drone manufacturers don't understand what the consumer wants. Auto-return-to-home is useless when using follow-me.
This drone is UNSAFE, dangerous in fact! The KF 102 is being sold with extremely poor software / firmware. My dealer would not accept a return or refund. DO NOT BUY this rubbish.

That's true, the drone will not record itself or by just the remote. U gonna need to use the apps.

Nope, I know fence mode. But this drone doesn't hv the function, even manual guide doesn't say anything about it
