- शरीफ़ा या सीताफल (कस्टर्ड ऐपल) एक प्रकार का फल है। इसका वानस्पतिक नाम अन्नोना स्क्वामोसा है। इसकी खेती अब पूरे भारत में की जाती है और दक्षिण भारत में अपने आप भी उग आता है इसका छोटा पेड़ |
पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर शरीफा को सीताफल के नाम से भी जाना जाता है| इसमें पाए जाने वाले पोषक तत्व त्वचा को निखारने का काम करते हैं| शरीफा में विटामिन ए, बी, सी और विटामिन ई पर्याप्त मात्रा में पाया जाता है| इसके अलावा यह मैग्नीशियम, कॉपर, फॉस्फोरस और मैगनीज से भी भरपूर होता हैशरीफे में विटामिन ए प्रचुर मात्रा में होता है, जो त्वचा को स्वस्थ रखने में मददगार है। शरीफा में विटामिन बी6 होता है जो रोगियों को अस्थमा के अटैक से बचाता है। सीताफल में बहुत ज्यादा मात्रा में प्राकृतिक एंटीऑक्सीडेंट विटामिन सी होता है, यह शरीर को रोगों से लड़ने में मदद करता है।
सीताफल की तासीर ठंडी होती है। इसमें कैल्शिम और फाइबर जैसे न्यूट्रिएंट्स की मात्रा अधिक होती है जो आर्थराइटिस और कब्ज जैसी हेल्थ प्रॉब्लम से बचाने में मदद करता है। साथ ही इसके पेड़ की छाल में टैनिन होता है जिसका इस्तेमाल दवाइयां बनाने में होता है। इस पेड़ के पत्तों से कैंसर और ट्यूमर जैसी बीमारियों का इलाज किया जाता है।
Custard Apples are a sub-tropical deciduous tree belonging to the Annonaceae family. This family contains over 2000 members spread throughout the world.
During times of Ramayana in INDIA the goddess seetha maa ate this forest fruits found in South India forest and became fond of them which are dating back to 7th century AD. Its called as seethaphal locally.
Sugar apple is high in energy, an excellent source of vitamin C and manganese, a good source of thiamine and vitamin B6, and provides vitamin B2, B3 B5, B9, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium in fair quantities.
