- Today we are making liquid glycerin soap. This is more of a castile soap with a tiny amount of castor and coconut to add those bubbles. A gentle and effective soap that anyone can use.
Vegetable glycerin is amazing for the skin and helps speed up the tracing process. This is the method I prefer when making liquid soap. I absolutely love the feel and how it speeds up the making process.

That looks beautiful. Extra virgin olive oil thickens by itself. Soap ph is so high its the one think that doesn't need a preservative.

using only essential oils and plant-based material to color your soaps. Have you considered having a video on natural colorants
for soaps. Right now I am experimenting with madder root in my lye to give a really pretty purple color. Madder root can make
some really pretty colors I am finding out.
Definitely takes more practice than Cp soap.

I use mostly clays for colorant. I've tried alot of other plant matter and kept going back to clays. I'll play around with them again and see if I can put something together for YT.

I would not add vitamin E so I wouldn't be able to advise when to.

Anytime water is added to a product then a preservative should be added as well.

@@SpoilYourselfNaturalok so I got a gallon of glycerin. I can use any of my liquid soap recipes and just replace the liquid for the lye solution with Glycerin and it must be heated to 200°C before adding the lye right?
@@kellsgreenidge8885 in theory yes. I'm sure it would work with most (if not all) recipes. My suggestion would be a super small batch to test.
Over 200 and add a little lye at a time, it can volcano.

Mine comes up a lot thicker than yours has,maybe because I make castile ???
It's definitely recipe related. A true castile is absolutely beautiful 😍
I'm struggling to upgrade my castile soap,by adding other ingredients, it's harder than it looks and so difficult to get recipes without having to pay for them 😕
@@marieclark7019 I completely agree. Have you read the ultimate guide to liquid soapmaking book? If not, there's tons of info on formulating and recipes in there to get an idea of percentages.

Every thing is fine. Except that the items which are used for not given with spellings on the screen for us to make sure becoz of you foreign pronounciation we may mis understnd...which.
