After Stephanie tells Brooke that she no longer has a strong hold on the Forrester family, Brooke refuses to let Stephanie take R.J. to Ridge, claiming that he needs to come himself. Ridge and Ashley flirt on their date, after which he goes over to Brooke’s house to see his son. Brooke pulls Ridge into a kiss, asking him to spend the night with his family. Ashley is annoyed at Stephanie for putting her between Ridge and Brooke’s problems. While Rick worries that the other men in Ashley’s life will not be good enough for her, he realizes that the best way to stay connected to Phoebe is through music and singing. Bridget tells him that their mother wants to go back to Ridge, but Rick does not think that Brooke can handle another rejection from him. - Zábava
Ashley was one of the few women that could talk to Stephanie like that and get away with it. I liked that she was beautiful and intelligent. She was too good for Ridge.

Ashley and Rick's dalliance happened long before Ashley came to LA and long before she got together with Ridge. So I don't know what you're talking about.

Brooker using her kids as pawns, as always. She used Hope where Nick was concerned and now she's using RJ with Ridge. No wonder Hope turns out to be a user as well
