Dear Mark, your videos are such a treat everytime. This one was almost like a little "Ferien auf dem Bauernhof", but for pipe and cigar smokers. 😅 Thank you for letting us participate, best greetings, Peter
Every time I see a video from you I think: 1) I need to light a pipe along with the discussion, and 2) I need to get out more. Truly enjoy your videos. Cheers, Alex
A bowlful of sweet tobacco, a well aged cigar with friendship, hospitality, history, nothern country landscape, thank you sir and your friend the host too!
What a pleasure, your trip and interview. Thank you for taking us along! Beautiful countryside, excellent friends, fine smokes, cuisine, & libations - soul therapy, indeed. Cheers!
Great video Mark!! Such a beautiful farm. Being from a rural area of the States I love to see the rural areas of Germany. Reminds me of where I live. Hans seems like a great guy. I really enjoyed the interview.
Really, really enjoyed this one, Mark. Han’s is a real gentleman and I very much enjoyed hearing about his family, farm, business and love of tobacco. Vielen Dank!
You've made my day Mark! Always look forward to a video from the pipe smoking son of Bremen. Only three minutes in and everything I enjoy about your videos! Thanks!
Hi Mark, Nice video, I enjoyed it. Wherever there is a "Hofladen", I must stop and go shopping. I like them. Handelsgold... Yeah... Terrible😂. But I remember the "Friday Night Meetings" with my friends when we were young. Tropenschatz Fehlfarben, Hansa Pils (which ist called "Schädelpils" in our region), nothing to eat but great music. Fantastic Times😁. See you Andreas
Mark, this is probably the best video or should I say talkshow that you have done. Your host was most gracious. I see why you like him. My best to the both of you and thanks again.🍺🍺
Delightful to spend an hour in the company of your good self and Hans. What a delightful gentleman. It was most interesting to hear about his farm and family history. I trust the evening went well.
Hello Mark. Such a great video my friend. That farm is wonderful and I love that old building that his dad hung up the animals in. Such a cool place. Take care.
Thanks for the review! Btw, we are releasing a LE run of Royal Twist this October and we are currently working on a brand new Mac Baren Pipe tobacco line for 2025. Even though we were purchased by STG, we are full steam ahead. Cheers, Denton
Loved the video! Nice friends, beautiful scenery, farm, and enjoyable conversation! What a way to cap off my afternoon after work and enjoying a bowl with you two! Splendid! I wonder if he ships overseas? Anyway… thanks for the ride along…from California!
Mark. I always enjoy your content very much! You really have a unique and wonderful channel! All the best to you from all the way across the Atlantic in Canada!
Hey Mark my good friend! Good to see another great video! ...and to see you haven't given it up yet, lol? What a beautiful place Hans has there...and beautiful countryside! Mac Baren is my favorite baccy manufacturer...they make all my favorites. Harmony, or Symphony, is a great tobacco, did a video about that many years ago...I think so! Really enjoyed this video and your discussion, very interesting. Take care my friend....and thanks for taking the time to do this! We're gonna talk soon! Corey
@@DryFlyFisher11 Hi there Alex! Thanks for the greetings, all is well! Just returned from some time in New Zealand, and still busy, busy! Take care! Corey
So nice to see you back doing Videos!! Gorgeous Setting with A Great Cigar Collection & Liquor!! Beautiful Farm!! Since 1350 That's a lot of years old.... Wow!! Country Roads were great No Cows, sheep, goats, or horses, other animals, running across the roads?? as you are traveling very fast. Yes, sell the corn to feed those 600 Cattle. Excellent Family History. Thanks for sharing..........Jose from Texas
For whatever its worth, in my humble opinion this is one of the best videos you have done, hands down fascinating from beginning to end and I assume "golden retriever" means a very light burley/virginia? Anyway loved the segment in the old house with the stuffed foxes, did you notice the brass miner's lamp over your left shoulder in that segment? I still sell the modern version of that lamp in my store, of course these days it is mainly used by boaters, sail boaters in particular probably because it is a space saver and still a very reliable oil lamp.
Hola Mark, this was a great video. I like it so much. Some remembers coming up about my youth and my family in Franken. My family for part of my mother were farmers to for generations. Her oldest farmhouse was from 1700. But in the 2000 they must give up all the land because isn't was rentable. The same story of many old families in our country. My really first smoke was a Handelsgold too. A cigar from my grandfather😊. It was terrible for me when I was 12 years old 😅. The most sad actual information which reached us now is the change of Mac Baren to the Scandinavian Group. We shall see what will happen with the good tobaccos which we love since decades! Best wishes from the 🌞🏝. Michael
Thank you always enjoy your videos. I would like to support your host if they ship to USA but unable to find them online. If you provide a link it would be much appreciated. Thank you again.
Which route did you choose to drive to our farm? A lot and beautiful countryside! At minute 9:00 you drive past the St.-Crucis-Church in Hoyerhagen, where I just held the service last Sunday as a volunteer preacher :-)
Hi brother I hope you’re doing well I have a question We all know there are many blends that either cased or topped with alcoholic beverages, My question is: 1- does all the alcohol evaporates during the smoking process 2- in other words does the alcohol enters our system when we smoke these blends
That thatched house is beautiful! What a lovely, and and I enjoyed the discussion very much. Thanks Mark and Hans!

Hi brother I hope you’re doing well
I have a question
We all know there are many blends that either cased or topped with alcoholic beverages,
My question is: 1- does all the alcohol evaporates during the smoking process
2- in other words does the alcohol enters our system when we smoke these blends
