It shows huchen on the river Una if you were interested about that film and you want to see more, the next film is "Save the blue heart of europe".Its an interesting film i recommend these two.

I did not think Barbel were native to the UK. Interesting to find out that they have always been here.
Yep native to the east of england but introduced to places like the river severn
I caught a barbel once it was huge about a foot an a half long night fishing in Shrewsbury
@@Scouse.raver1 18" long that's about 3 or 4 pounds depending on the fish's bulk, hardly huge for a barbel
so has tench n bream these fish were heare because we were once attached to france mate when the english channed was created it cut of the fish that were in britian

Watching those trout and salmon is making me feel like fly fishing again
theys a big rod 15ft for sale airflo delta classic i got gifeted from grays alnwick new in tuve still has plastic never ever been used.theys a 10# intermediate fly line new never used in box i think leeeda 90quid the pair (north east england)

Can you eat these?
Most of them yes as a child I used to go camping and fishing we would catch and cook the fish mostly Brown trout and rainbow trout
Whilst all or at least most are edible, in the UK it is considered bad form to take coarse fish for the pot so generally only trout are eaten.
You can eat anything but the question has to be "would you?" In most cases these fish are just unpalatable such as the bream and barbel and you also have to take into account the water quality as many be found in dirty or contaminated water.
@@tango6nf477 Are they unpalatable? On mainland Europe coarse fish are eaten, not sure about barbel but certainly perch, pike, bream and carp.

Hey Steven, with species lists like this is very hard to quantify how one fish is better then another so really its just a collection of 10 species but that doesn't sound a very good title so top 10 is used.
