I believe organizing the closet is a good step in organizing the mind.
I love decluttering videos! I sure could relate when you just stopped and looked at everything on the bed. Worried about should I have done that. But, putting it on the bed makes you clean it up, because you need a spot to sleep. Good job!
We have a 4BR house, each with a closet. I've been trying for years to get my wife to place her Fall/Winter seasonal clothes in one closet away from the MBR and current Spring/Summer clothes in the MBR closet like I do. She won't have it! I'm sure there's plenty that she could donate that she hasn't worn in several years. Good job Cris!
That's quite a wardrobe of clothes! I'm glad you kept the red dress it is cute even if you don't work in an office still probably be a time you can wear it
"This is totally Blanche Devereux." 🤣🤣 that's exactly what I was thinking. My kiddo criticizes me for wearing black so much, and in the off chance I wear color, she looks at me so shocked. Every once in a while, we gotta trap into our inner Blanche Devereux or colorful version of Stevie Nicks. Have to keep them guessing. They'll never know what version of us they'll get on any given day.
Love it! I hung all of my tops up for years, then I got a set of drawers and now all of my tops sit in neat piles on top of the drawers and my 2nd sofa. That is as far as my re-organising got before I got 'muched' in a manner pretty akin (to you). I may summon up the nerve to continue again now. So, Thank You Cris for another lovely, calming vlog. Awesome way to spend a Sunday teatime.
Cris- I’m so glad for these non-Disney vlogs. Now that I just got back from my Disney vacation I won’t be needing to follow the park vlogs. I am glad I can still follow you and enjoy your home, plant/nursery and bird watching vlogs!! Thank you for having a diverse schedule of material!!
Great job! I'm now inspired to switch my closet because I have mostly tees in there (yes I hang mine up too, even though I have a dresser). I have my work clothes (of which there are less) on the bigger side, but I think my tee shirts should be on that end so they're not crammed in there as much! Another thing I've done that may or may not help anyone is that I picked up a few open top storage baskets and that is what I use for my scarves/hats/purses etc. I just take down the basket I need from the top shelf when I need something.
I have a dresser and still hang my shirts, storage cubes would be awesome for the top so nothing falls. Great progress!
Maybe wrap your planters with outside of purses.
Kind of old idea I put tee shirts over the seat back of my car.

I love seeint videos like this, closet clean outs are always fun. I know we always have changing taste but i do often see youtubers and influencers get rid of so many cute things and keep things they are sponspred by or the "image" they have maintained on those playforms where they stick to that and notbing really else. But whenever i do closet cleanouts i later regret getting rid of 😂 always hard to part with things or trends come back or go. Always fun to think about
Loved this video. Very satisfying to see declutterring. Try a Magic Eraser on your Loungefly. It will take that yellowing off. Try washing the Halloween costumes by hand. Ugh. That feeling of a cleaned out closet is so wonderful until you turn around and see your bedroom lol 😂 I’m always like how the hell did all that fit in there lol It looks great. You’ve inspired me to do mine this coming week. My work attire is the same. One of the many perks of working from home.

I moved into a condo in Orlando and need to reorganize my closet, my kids closet and our linen closet. 😅 Command hooks for the bags btw! Inside of the closet on the walls and off the floors. I love them! I use the same for belts and hats.
I could not afford some furniture so went with the plastic draws for my none hanging clothes etc. Easy to put together and not expensive they do the job. Looks good your wardrobe. I have one of those hanging cubes as well very handy.
Nice job! I need to do this too! This motivated me to start thinking about it and getting items to organize things in. There are some zippered totes I can use for the top shelf to store hats and bags. I will let you know if it works! Thanks for the inspiration!

I just literally went through some misc bags while watching, I am donating some & will use them to put clothes in to donate - that way I don’t have to waste trash bag or a valuable box, lol. I’ve always joked that I have bags for my bags! BTW, YakPak was a phenomenal quality brand. I still have a wheeled luggage bag and backpack of theirs. I got years ago for a great deal at Ross, they are some of the most superbly built luggage I have ever seen, I think they’re out of business now, but they had funky prints in durable quality!
Put those sentimental blankets in a clear plastic bag like the ones a comforter comes in for safekeeping or any of the multitude of storage bags that are sold on Amazon Amazon that have the clear strip in the front so you can see what’s in them, they are cheap and come in very handy!
Sidenote, if you ever get over to the QVC/HSN outlet that is in Brandon, they usually have these awesome fabric storage containers that have wire edge w/ the clear strip in the front, they are fantastic for closet storage - Good prices too!

Chris, that's gonna be a hard job. Maybe because before you started talking you and Tampa j do a lot of the haunts and you have a lot of t-shirts and I would not. I wish I was there to help you, but that's a hard thing. What to keep what to get rid of because once it's gone, it's gone.😂❤
Im in the UK and wish we have closets like this. Just a suggestion, Cris, but you could get separate pretty storage boxes to go on the shelf above and organise those things

I have two hooks in my closet I hang all of my bags in my closet
No judging here. LOL. I share a closet with my son in our tiny apartment, so we hang our shirts, shorts, and pants.
We put our "undies" in our own personal storage bins.
So as long as you are happy with it, go with it. 😊
I do segregate our winter/ summer stuff. OCD, I guess.

I use clothes hanger conector hooks Amazon, gives me more room and hang similar shirts or pants together 💕🤗
