That was really inconsiderate and rude of them to leave without saying anything.. they could have politely refused to eat.. I feel sorry for that guy..
In his reality they haven’t arrived yet
leaving without saying goodbye was their way of leaving the Professor wondering if the events happened or not..in a way they were helping him
fck that guy
They were scared bc the guy could just snap and kill them
Good thing it's a scripted TV show and it didn't really happen
It's a rare science nerd who can go out and shoot dinner.
Actually, it's a required course for most university science degrees these days.
@@dugowt9243 ? what? no it isn't lmfao.
actually, it's the way physics starts: 'calculate the trajectory of a bullet...'
@@vinko8237 hahahhaha hahaaa hahahah haah ahhh haaha . Don't forget gym thing too. Spring with load or something...
Why? Oh, stereotype. Right.
Honestly the actor of Dr Wolcott is so underrated and he nailed his performance superbly
Peter MacNichol is the actor. He was in Ally McBeal. Can't remember his characters name.
He worked with Rowan Atkinson aka Mr.Bean for the movie “Bean”
He was hilarious on veep as well.
@@Murph_. He was "The Biscuit," wasn't he?
He was in Numbers, and Ghostbusters II along with many other projects.
www.imdb.com/name/nm0001493/
For a rather hit-or-miss sit-com, this show had a astounding number of really great character actors as guest stars...
First four seasons were overall pretty solid.
I don't think it's hit or miss
Hit or miss? You're delusional
@@tenzing2090 Thanks.
@@jakeyell No worries dumbass
As much as I enjoyed the episode, the guys were kind of douchebags to leave without saying goodbye... He was very polite with them, and was willing to exchange information which constitutes in his life's work, not to mention going out to hunt to feed them dinner... The least they could do was say goodbye and thank him.
they would have been repeating themselves....
I agree. They should have and it seems out of character
The end joke wouldn't be as funny but I agree
Its written in the script, nothing is real here, so why you are feeling "bad" for an fictional character? Guess what, they probably repeated this scene many times
@@RizZaTV because they are playing " real people" that's the point of shows, escapism... In the moment we're supposed to identify with characters. That's the point of a script.
"Also, I'm from Texas and I _can_ taste the difference between rabbit and squirrel."
😄😄😄
That's what stuck in my mind aussi. ;)
Oh good I was afraid we hadn't watched the same video
I've eaten rabbit multiple times, but never squirrel. I'd like to try it.
Are you from,Texas???
Why do I feel bad for the scientist :(
Jennifer Haining ya honestly it would have been better for me if they stayed for dinner at least. But maybe he'll appear via video chat in sheldons wedding?
Arcturus Blake fair enough, but it would have been hilarious to watch
He was already paranoid about people stealing his work. They were incredibly inconsiderate both of his hospitality & his mental health.
He was cuckoo
Because you're human
The "waiiiiiit a minuuuuute" killed me.
I do feel bad for that poor guy. They should have stayed to say goodbye. Now he's gonna be freaking out for who knows how long.
Same here. The ending ruined it for me; it's implied that he has some struggles with reality based on the clips. Even if he didn't, you can clearly see that the gang leaving ended up making him spiral and doubt his own sanity. It's cruel.
@@DeluxBass it really is. It bothered me about them for a while
@@stephenproulx175 I don't blame you. It bothers me still. I have frequent periods where I suddenly forget the past 1-12 hours myself. It is super disorienting and I always need someone to remind me where and when I am and what I forgot or I will never remember. If something like this had happened in real life to me (or to others struggling with amnesia, Alzheimers, psychotic disorders, etc.) it would be incredibly traumatic or at the very least would have really fucked with my state of mind.
I would have been ok with it if the guy had been dangerous, but it was literally just Sheldon going 'Huh I am no longer a recluse due to Amy. Let's go home.' and the other 3 going off. I get that they have a lack of social skills but they always had basic human decency, even Howard when it came to men, and this scene kind of just...has them lack it.
The way he tripped out after they left was epic.
He put so much energy in "they were on their way"
Peter Mcnickle is one of my favorite character actors. I don't know why we don't see him more. Awesome dude.
I think this is one of the few, if only, times that Sheldon has acknowledged that Howard is right...without throwing in an insult not long after.
The laughs and the end rant that Dr. Wilcott did in this scene was a reference to his role as Renfield in Dracula: Dead and Loving It.
"I miss Amy... and my phone" 😂❤
I feel really bad for professor. What if we have people in reality who have the same passion to science and living their life in the world of illusion....
K kud their are many people like that
AS and not just science either
World of disillusion.
Maybe we are living in illusion and they are not 😂
They can always write science fiction novels
Imagine a life where you second guess everything that happens to you..... waaaaait a minuuuuute, that's my life.
Even tho the guys were jerks, Dr. Wolcott was hilarious! He acted exactly like an unhinged person, but he still made it relatable.
I must say the man acting as Dr Wolcot is a great actor....... not only did he know his lines very well but he adds value to the words coming out of his mouth 👏🏻 👏🏻
Yeah I first saw him in the Leslie Nielsen Dracula parody movie and the first Mr Bean movie.
Crazy Scientist: I’m a married man myself.
Leonard: Oh really? Is she here?
Howard: and alive?
Raj: and, and can people other than you see her?
ROFL...
I love the Big Bang Theory and I cannot understand why SOME fans are saying the show should end.
Hats off to the writers of the show, because they have done an EXCEPTIONAL job with the characters of the show. Not only have they brought them to life but show them grow and mature as well.
These guys were originally NERDY, uncool, no girlfriends, comic book reading Scientists.
They still do those things but they have become more outgoing and they are now married with children...well all except Raj. However, I believe that the writers will have the right woman for Raj.
The writing is just brilliant and the actors do an outstanding job in bringing to life what the writers have put on paper.
Watching all these characters grow and mature right before our very eyes has been most entertaining. Especially Sheldon, he went from almost robotic to being human, with a need for sex, no less. True, the robotic boy comes out from time to time but his human side is winning the tug of war.
Look at Amy, look how far she has come. She was robotic as well...
I say the Writers deserve a standing ovation for their brilliant strategy.
It is a very well written show and every time I watch it, I can still laugh out loud...good old belly laugh.
The creators of the show will know when to end it and I am sure they are going to do an exceptional job. So fans, just sit back and enjoy the ride because nothing lasts forever.
Bravo!!!
I know the guy was a bit unstable but it was pretty rude of the guys to just leave without saying anything
Also - Peter MacNicol is a great comedy actor (Bean the Movie, Addams Family Values, Ghostbusters II etc)
"Yay!! We are having rabbits"
The wolcott guy said “they” when he was only expecting sheldon.
Right, but if he believes in a block universe and that time isn't linear, he might just believe that he's seeing things out of order, not that the guys never actually existed.
Peter macnicol good actor.
Renfield!!!

3:49 best part 😂😂
"Wait a minute, what if they stole my work?! Wait a minute! What if they were never here at all. Wait a minute! What if they haven't gotten here yet, but they're on their way?!! I better tidy up" XD
The Sheldon i know would love living alone.
He went crazy after spending time with Mr Bean
Amy has humanized Sheldon 😀
I actually really liked this episode, but I'm sad that they still haven't mentioned Stephen Hawking. I mean, they went to great lengths to show how much Sheldon idolized Hawking and brought him onto the show multiple times. You would think that Sheldon would acknowledge the loss of such an extraordinary scientist and human being. I suppose, though, it probably has to do with when each episode is filmed? I just hope they mention it soon.
Nina Appasamy Ik that would be nice if they did. But I think it's hard to do since there some weird accusations going around about his death. I just hope it's just a rumor
Nina Appasamy They have not mention it because the whole season was already filmed before he die so they likely won't bring it up for a little while.
Nina Appasamy they finished filming the series before he died you see
I agree. It just doesn't make sense
i dont think the film makers would do that... ethically speaking they cant just showcase someones death unless they have express permission to do so from family members
Dr. Janosz has come a long way after his breakup with Vigo the Carpathian
That guy is somewhere busy staring into a painting of Vigo the Magnificent.
He didn't want a bachelor party
Rookie mistake leaving them on their own, when most of his work was just lying there.
Such an awesome actor he is.. plays that crazy dude so well.
Oh lol, I’m also from Texas and I can also taste the difference between Rabbit and Squirrel 😂😂😂
(Squirrel tastes closer to chicken than rabbit, and rabbit has a stringier texture)
Luciano Martinez I am threatened yet fascinated by you
im a vegetarian and i feel like throwing up
@@reya6126 Did you?
People actually eat squirrels?
@@yusurkassem4174 oh for sure. In Virginia it's a common ingredient in a tomato base meat stew called Brunswick Stew.
This is the best episode in a while!
Peter McNicol is still amazing
X the Eliminator has gone crazy since not getting the Crest of Birdman.
Raj is absolutely glowing in the last season
Real Sheldon from season 1 would kill for living a life like this, constantly entangled in academia and realities of the space time. Then I guess a woman can actually change your life like hell, for better or worse, which is upto you.
As feel as dr Walcott represents what Sheldon could have become if he had not yet Amy. To see him want her even in Dr Walcott presence shows significant character change
Peter Macnicol is a genius
This was a good episode.
"I haven't understood anything since poop tomato" lmfao
Which makes him sense since they’re all scientists. But you have to connect with the Audience he doesn’t get this shit
Low key I feel so bad for this guy at the end he sounds so paranoid.
Great episode!! Peter MacNicol is hilarious!!!! This should be a spin-off. I can see his "crazy" being the central theme of maintaining off grid lifestyle while dealing with normality.
Steve Quincey like that idea
i love the iidea, but i worry that it would wear too quickly. :/
There is. Its call numb3rs. Well its more of a prequel
So you think the doctor's mom had him tested?
I loved this actor in both this role and in Numb3rs.
I have three comments I wanna make. One, that "WAIT A MINUTE!" was hilarious. Two, If he keeps believing that he will say "thank you" in the future, then he never will, and thus, contradicts his theory of a reason not to repeat himself. Three, I find it ironic that in an early episode, the gang finds the script for "Ghostbusters II", but don't notice the resemblance here, as Peter MacNicol was in the film. Then again, in a different early episode, Raj mentions Danica McKellar and in a later episode, he ends up hooking up with her. In that same early episode, he also mentions Blossom, who obviously is Amy. And they don't notice the resemblance there either.
RJ
"Great! We're having rabbit!"
That was incredibly rude to leave without a word like this, not even sayn goodbye. I suppose it was for the sake of the joke, but still, it just makes me feel bad for him.
The biscuit in Ally Mcbeal.
The whole concept of time having multiple dimensions seems pretty plausible. It's kinda like seeing life through a table of contents in one of those videos that have them
Is the professor’s math saying that time and space is relative per dimension and that gravity is the unifying force? Would that explain that dark matter is actually echos of other dimensions being affected by gravity? Goosebumps are in full affect lol
I switched my major from Physics to Biochemistry in college, but Physics has always been dear to my heart.
I gotta rewatch this episode now
Omg! I love this guest star! ♡
2:15 here is Renfield!!!!
This is the best part!!!
I love this actor from Dracula Dead and Loving it!
There’s a reason he was the mad hatter in Batman games ya know
Time having multiple dimensions like space: does that make sense to anyone?
Stephen King its called f theory i think. Ya sure lets say what we experience of time is a component of what is actually there, our time is a macroscopic property of a series of interconnected microscopic times .
The edge of our understanding is already so far and it will took years just to even grasp it. To expand it you would need this insane dedication and a "wasted" life. So be grateful these mad man pave the road for the rest of us.
I know it's fiction.
Even worse for the doc, a letter saying their coming will arrive in 2 days lol
4:10 why am i getting Green Goblin vibes 😂
Is this the guy from the first Bean movie? Legend
"Viiiigggggooooo"
Vic atNyte see after all the supernatural things that happened to him he he became a scientist but also vigo/goo made him *Cuckoo*
That gun he's using is all wrong-it look's like a Marlin 336, which is a rifle used for deer or bear; shoot small game like a rabbit or squirrel with one and it will explode into a red mist with barely any meat left
BBT Fan I guess that’s part of the joke as you could here the sound it made.
Ricardo Ruiz Right. I'm familiar with guns and a small game gun doesn't sound like that.
They should have said goodbye.....
Stellar acting
I kinda want to live like that guy
That ending reminds me of the movie Inception
I knew I recognized him as Renfield.
Spoken like a true Texan
How do they write to each other if she thinks he lives in South America lol
Mail forwarding?
i'm surprised howard finally considers sheldon a friend
Wow, I haven't seen Peter MacNicol since he appeared in the first Mr. Bean movie back in 1997.
I had seen him on ALLY MACBEAL and 24.
The Mad Hatter (Arkham City and Arkham Knight) 😆
It's Space-Time as a fabric, not just Time. So if Space has multiple dimensions, it's possible Space Time does too
Hope they're not killing bunnies
And this is what happened after GB2
They should've asked him if he has any creepy 12 foot tall paintings.
I am telling you he has definitely used his wife to grow those tomatoes. Long distance is just in his thoughts.
I haven’t watched this one I thought I was up to date 😫
HE IS VIGO!
Can't believe Sheldon put his mobile in the same bag as others. Raj's fell in the urinal once.
I'm glad that I am an applied mathematician.
I don't live in a cabin lol.
Wow

@@philip8498 Still don't live in a cabin but I do live in the woods now.
Totally off the point, but that looks like waaaay too much gun for squirrel, or rabbit.......

Why didn't they retrieve their phones before leaving?
The math is saying hahaha
they could have left a massage for him but no. :(
Years after serving Lord Vigo have not been kind to this museum curator.
Renfield's possible descendant?

scientist 2: im not saying that the math is saying that

I wonder if he's related to Bud Jamison. A prominent character actor for Columbia pictures in the 30s and 40s. He worked a lot with the three stooges. His face looks very similar.
Wasn't this guy one of the lawyers in Ally Macbeal?
I see Dr. Janosz Poha quit the museum....
Imagine any one of them being able to tell the difference between Squirrel meat or Rabbit meat .
2:12 no wonder he missed her letters, she thinks he's in an entirely different continent
People says the this show should end, they are so wrong
