. Check out this new 2019.5 Forestriver Riverstone 39FK fifth wheel. This front Kitchen Fifth Wheel is a big rv. This is the new 19 and a half version so it has all the latest changes that the factory started doing in September/October of 2018. The Forestriver Riverstone is Forestrivers Highest Line of Fifth wheel. The Riverstone unit is built for the people who are looking to full-time RV and travel the country. This is my DREAM 5th wheel! I LOVE THE DARK WOOD!!! And the front kitchen with those little tiles and that enormous fridge and the entire kitchen is huge...YESSS!
Wow, this kitchen is not the same as the Cedar Creek Champagne Edition 38EFK. Now this (Riverstone 39FK) could hold your kitchen needs. The storage space under the full counter is totally different. For one thing instead of just three skimpy drawers (as in the 38EFK) it has 6 good size drawers. And instead of a small cabinet and a wine cooler there is a nice big adjoining cabinet next to the bank of drawers. Very very nice. But, I sure wish with this gorgeous upgrade from the Champagne Edition 38EFK they would have kept the two opposing slides that it had in the bedroom. The opposing slides in the 38EFK made for an awesome bedroom. Bummer they didn't carry that over to the Riverstone 39FK. If they had I know what I would be purchasing next spring.
I love this kitchen design. Most RVs are not cook and bake friendly. Slam your head on everything! No countertop space. This one I would love to cook in.
Well done video, not rushed. As this would be a full time living for us, I would prefer a lighter wood to make the unit brighter. I like the carpet in the bedroom, but I would lose the fireplace in the bedroom for more drawers. Love the kitchen, but would prefer to lose a little space for a bigger dining table. The bathroom would be too small for us. The hubby is a bigger guy at 6’4. Beautiful unit!
Need to go lighter on the cabinet tones. Just my opinion though. The large counter with gas stove sure is nice. Convection microwave across from stove is a neat idea. On demand water heater. That’s a great idea. Overall a very thorough video. Great job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We have been full timers for over a year now & are looking to buy again next spring/summer, when we sell our home. So, we are seriously considering another GD Solitude. Infact, we already have one picked out..
These are our deal breakers:
1: Vents on floors!!
2: control box out for grandbabies little hands
3: placement of fire extinguisher, just out in the open. I realize fore code, but the one we have is kinda "hidden" next to slide area
1a: not too crazy about the living area.. too blah no place to place decor/pictures, etc
2a: not crazy about toilet sitting like that, feels likes it's out in the open..
A: Love the kitchen, prefer table and chairs tho for more sitting area. Right now we have a table that can sit 6. We use it a lot!
B: like having the step option.
C: Love everything about the bedroom!!
D: love the plastic panels on the screen door
E: like the drawers in the stairs
I know you all can't please everyone, but it sure would be nice! 😊 So, we will have to go with the new GD.. sucks, 'cause of your deal breakers. I would choose it for the rest tho.
My husband really wants the pull out storage tray GD has. We need that storage nad the simplicity of it! Especially being we actually live in it, but like the option for still going out on the road..

Oh, forgot to ask. I wonder why they didn't do a downdraft venting next to the stove. While that fan in the same area overhead is a good idea, it's not going to do the job a downdraft would have done. And if you've ever cleaned the exhaust fan over your stove you know it can get really nasty in a short amount of time. Hmmm, makes me wonder just how well that ceiling will clean up.

After being an RV owner for over 45 years, I can say that the worst problem is that the heat vents are in the floor. Bad bad idea. I would not buy just for that reason. Many reasons why. Dirt, dust, road dust, sand and water. Horrible!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this!!! I only wish that there was room for a dining room table but I can probably fit a table between the couches. And store it away when I don’t have company. Other then that I love everything about this model and design!!! Definitely will keep this in mind!!
They should've extended the island and the overhang could've allowed for more seating
I LOVE my CEDAR CREEK, but man I had to watch this video twice!!!! I'm kind of wishing I had really looked at one of these. I'm in a 38FLX, which is a GREAT FLOOR PLAN!!! I'm using mine for LONG hunting trips. I'm in it about 7 months ago year with my son and I, and a lot of time up to 4 other people. The front living room is nice. This front kitchen looks much roomier for cooking for 6 3 times a day. MAY BE TIME TO UPGRADE!!!!

Nice front kitchen design, but it looks like raised floor slides--unless I'm wrong, that would be a deal breaker for us.

Beautiful coach. Just put the shower 90 deg left and then you can fit 2 sinks! Also opt out back door and how do we get to fridge and bath when slides in while on the road?? Otherwise add outdoor kitchen and we're in! Everyone should have motion lights and FP in bedroom!
Love it! My favorite one so far! I’d like to order one but I was really disappointed in the bathroom. I’d like something larger. Otherwise it was spot on. I’ll give y’all a call and see if we can get one ordered. Best presentation ever by the way!

Why not have the 6th SLIDE in the Bedroom, makes a huge difference
I watch a lot of American RV videos. What I cannot understand is in2019 why is everything so dark inside. I live in Europe we call them caravans the older ones have dark wood but most of the newer ones are light wood and a lot lot brighter. Just my opinion.
That is the Mocha wood. Danville is lighter.
EXACTLY our thought too. Its Brown on dark brown... gloomy
There are bound to be differences between regions. I'm glad Australian caravans are different again from European models.
European caravans suck they all look the same and all try to put way to much into a way to tiny space
@Valerie Loney Just depends on the manufacturer. For example, Winnebago has been trending towards lighter cabinets, etc., for quite a while now. Another US manufacturer (Vanleigh) says their most popular interiors are lighter (vanleighrv.com/products/the-vilano/320-gk/#gallery). This is Vanleigh's smallest 5th wheel, but it appears bigger because it's lighter.

In the kitchen....how are u supposed to work at the counters??? No kick for feet plus a little ledge that your feet would hang off of. U would be leaning way over to reach.
Love this RV! However if it had another bedroom like say 4 kids it would be super awesome. But this is still pretty nice. 👍🏻

Wowo The front kitchen is Amazing But 😬 I think that the wood is to Dark for my taste. People will find it to probably be to Dark especially when is park in a very wooded area during the day.. .. I like more brightness in the interior 👍 .. Great video and explanation thanks for sharing
I too hate all the dark wood. I was looking the other day and one of the ones I saw had high lacquered cabinets in a medium gray and they were lovely. May not have even been wood, but I would not care.
Hi Bart. They do offer a medium grey wood as an option on these and they are starting to offer a new sofa white wood later this year as well.
If I had the money this would be the fifth wheel I would own.

I don't like the floor heater vents.
Really wish they would put outside compartment that is reachable from steps to put your footwear in safely. Keep dirt from being tracked in and out. Dont like wallpaper around toilet that needs to be something that is easy to clean and water resistant. Why put air vent right where u step out of shower. So no rug can lay there, and then water will be everywhere. I completely dry off b4 getting out of shower but most dont. And I dont want air blowing up on me immediately after getting shower.
Looks virtually identical to the Grand Design Solitude except that's a rear kitchen. Beautiful design though

It's an upsale unit and great job with the walk through, but what was with all the cracks and scratches all over the kitchen cabinets. If mine showed up that way, spending 100k on a unit, I would flip out.
Dude. I just seen 4 today and it was the lighting on his camera. The unit is awesome and built rock solid. I suggest ordering one and do not buy one on the lot. For the price. This is the best fifth wheel on the market. I am ordering mine in 2 weeks. I love it. Insulation is awesome.

To the MFG. or anyone who may know. Does this mfg. allow design changes? I ask because i don't want to clean grease and other cooking splashes off the window right where the stove is. Should be a tiled backsplash there instead of a window and a stove exhaust fan. And can they relocate that huge microwave and oven to beside the refrigerator making it a double wall oven and put a 14 inch dishwasher instead of those little drawer washers. and NO floor vents? I think those changes would help more customers. I am very new to Rvs. Thank you.
my CBD life The skylight is required to accommodate the plumbing coming from the drain of the shower, they like to play it up like it’s some advantage for tall people but there is a reason for it

Why do all the RV manufacturers put DVD players and not blue-ray? These are supposed to be luxury coaches and they scrimp in such a basic thing, does not make sense. Honestly makes me wonder just what else will fall short?

Hi Wes. This brand of camper is available in Canada as well. There are a few Canadian Dealers up there and also many Canadians do buy them from down in the states and then take them back into Canada.

Could you get 2 recliners on one of the sides instead of couch? Is one a sleeper?...does TV turn?
Hi Lynn, The factory does not offer any free standing recliners. The theater seat facing the TV does recline. The sofas in the slides are free standing so you could take one out and buy a recliner aftermarket if you wanted. The sofa's in the slides do make into beds so you have extra sleeping there for quest. The TV is on a swing arm so you can turn it.

You can and I did.
If you’re trying to get on the side of the bed you’ll enjoy that in floor heater vent, LOL heater vents in the floor are dealbreaker’s for many reasons

What are the pros and cons of hauling a 5th wheel over a drivable motorhome?
#1 You have to haul another vehicle behind a motorhome….you don't with a fifth wheel. You unhook and have your vehicle free to go places.
Why not put opposing slides in the bedroom?
This unit is the big brother to the Champagne Edition 38EFK. The 38EFK has the same floor plan with the exception of the bedroom; the 38EFK has the opposing slides and it looks great and has great storage . Wish the Champagne Edition 38EFK had the same kitchen as it's big brother the 39FK, as the 39FK has better storage in it's kitchen. It doesn't have the wine cooker but does have a large cabinet in it's place and 6 large drawers instead of only 3 small ones as as in the Champagne Edition.

Hi Kathleen. They do have a option for just Solar prep on roof when ordering the camper. They also have an option for 480 watt solar panel system to be ordered from them to.
