RC Air Ride on a Vintage Tamiya FF01 Volkswagen Golf, RCengineering, Bagged Touring Car, Custom

  • Unfortunately the PROairRC kits are no longer made. I picked up this vintage Tamiya FF01 VW golf on ebay a few months ago, dont know why, lol. I have a soft spot for old tamiya touring cars. So after removing the shocks and staring at it a week I decided to go all out and make the air ride kit work with it. Using tons of parts from the recently killed mod rod project we make it happen.

Made my rc impala bounce with 30kg 360' servos on shocks running on a garage door relay on 12v 2amp supply press the buttons and it had some kick nothing major but enough to make it a low rider :) so I absolutely respect this build =D

Idea for you ... Kitchen aid vac pump shocks compress on pull an if springs in place should rest itself on air intake . You could get what's called disfuzer's an air them next to spring shocks on an rc vehicle .🤔
