That is not the idler the plans call for to be used. Additionally, it needs to be spaced out from the frame so it is lined up with the middle gear on your front crank ring. make sure you don't have sideplay in the hub bearings assembly. And make sure that all of your spokes are properly tensioned. This will eliminate the wheel flexing into the brake assembly on the left turn. In case of doubt ... follow the AtomicZombie plans.
Can not stand people who say right off "UM, AND DUH, BUT DUH" and so on ! They surely would not write it in a letter to their mom ! Why can't they talk any more ? Brain damage ?
