Kala has not left any harkak undone in this video. Hats off to her. I place her on top of North Indian Violinist in the world presently. I have hardly left any of her videos & appreciate immensely. Best wishes for her long & prosperous life.
After listening nearly all classical violinists since more than 60 years, I place her as the best North Indian Violinist

You should never compare two artists, if you are into music, you should have this basic understanding. Moreover you should listen to Kalaji's interview, she always tells the story of learning violin from her aunt, the maestro Dr. N. Rajam ji. Moreover Dr. Rajam worked for 15 years in developing the techniques of Violin playing in Gayaki Ang. It's all about the fact.
And in my opinion, Dr. Rajam's Violin has a seriousness, whereas Kalaji's violin has a sweetness. Everyone can chose to listen according to their taste. I enjoy listening to both.

Not gonna lie, Akram Khan has not really done a great job here of following compared with other snippets
yup, one example - Kala was trying to get him to come onto her tihai around the 7:52 mark but he didn't bite at all
Not every tabla player can accompany her, she uses techniques which need very fast tempo. Abhijit Bannerjee is the one with whom her accompaniment seems very synchronised.
