I’m not sure
if hubby (Retired Navy) and I knew our neighbor was serving the country we'd make sure we mowed his lawn as well as ours.
Recently we bought a house and the gentleman we bought it from is active duty AF. He asked us if he could stay an extra 2 months and that he'd pay us rent for that time. when we got the check, we thanked him for his service and mailed him the check back.

I have noticed , it seems that the lawn mowing business are the only ones that get out there and helps the elderly, disabled, veterans ect for free.

I like what you’re doing specifically for this veteran. I’m amazed with your riding mower which I’ve never that type before. Would have been nice to involve teenagers involved in “ service “. We do that for elderly and in need families. Youth can learn doing services for others. Thanks again for good work.

They aren’t able to. They had to hire a company themselves to try and keep up there yard. They were super nice people. Very appreciative of what we did.

I tried to think of something to say that others haven't said in these comments, so I'll just say, God bless you and let Him fill in the blanks.
Whenever I've had to cut stuff that high I've found it quicker to raise the deck up and hit it in one direction, then drop the deck and hit it in the opposite direction. I find it tends to cut that tall stock off better on the first pass rather than lay it over. just a thought.
No I agree. These mowers were in the “loading” setting.

My father God rest his soul, gave 27 years of his life to the Army defending this country through the Korean conflict and Vietnam and was treated rather badly by the younger generation back in the late 60's and 70's.Thank you for you thoughtfulness to help out the folks that helped make our country free of outside oppression.

My husband is a disabled Veteran from the Vietnam war. He served 3 branches Marines,Army and then he was in the Army National Guard Reserve. We want to thank you for serving the Veterans who need help .

It’s sad that every time the neighbors mowed their grass they couldn’t find the time and energy to go over and mow his grass. I wonder how many times they looked over and complained about how high the jungle’ had gotten...
I know the neighbor has struggled as well and had to hire a company.

I caught a video of a veteran helping a disabled veteran... Thom's Simple Life... 70 year old veteran doing the most OVER GROWN front & backyard I've seen yet. He does this "alone". Great vid guys always a fun watch... 🇺🇸💪🇺🇸🙏
