Watch her in dil se you’ll be mesmerized! Bombay, 1942 a love story, akele hum akele tum that last scene, it’ll break your heart. And khamoshi too. None of the actresses in 90s could give a moving performance like she did! She had something special when she was onscreen

Manisha koirala is a legend..I don't know how she has not yet received utmost respect from the film fraternity yet.. in her younger days, her face cud launch a thousand ships , that's how beautiful she was and now her acting skills has literally proven that experience matters over everything.. I just couldn't take my eyes of her throughout the series.. brilliant mindblowing acting.. literally she carried the entire series on her shoulders.. n I still remember her BOMBAY MOVIE , WHAT AN GORGEOUS ACTRESS IN THAT WHITE DRESS IN THE SONG.. UFFFFF A FACE THAT CANNOT BE SEEN AGAIN EVER..SUCH BEAUTY..

Amarjot Kaur Chamkila is a film. Heeramandi is a Miniseries. It's not the same category. One will be nominated at the Filmfare Awards, the other at the Filmfare OTT Awards, for TV series.

There was negativity spread around her.. because they wanted to keep Karishma raveena Kajol in limelight.. nepotism existed even then. She was snubbed at awards too. But Manisha had a loyal following in 90s and the filmmakers trusted her a lot. She worked with all legends. Even madhuri in koffee with Karan said she thought Manisha was her competitor when kjo was pushing Juhi’s name. She just lived on her own terms and didn’t care so much about being popular or anything and didn’t have much guidance
She lived life Queen size n was not on good terms with her counterparts. Also drinking too much.
