    Hello everyone.
    The content on welding distortion and shrinkage is so extensive.
    In the previous time, we introduced the content on the effect of welding distortion on angle.
    If welding distortion affects angle, welding shrinkage affects length.
    In today's video, I will briefly introduce how much welding shrinkage occurs when welding pipes.
    When welding pipes, a gap is created between the pipes.
    As that gap is filled, welding shrinkage occurs.
    And depending on how you weld, the welding shrinkage length varies greatly.
    So what happens if you weld a pipe without a gap?
    Today, I have included the easiest content to calculate on welding shrinkage in the video.
    Welding shrinkage is greatly affected by the size of the gap, the number of welding layers, the amount of heat input, the size and thickness of the pipe, etc.

    Zo doen wij het ook. Heb je al eens argon waterstof gebruikt? Dit maakt dat je boog veel nauwer wordt, ook je naald stomper slijpen zorgt voor een vernauwing. Zo leg je maar 1 pas en heb je nog minder krimp. Moet je eens proberen. Keep up the good work!!!!

      no . as he showed there is a 1% shrinkage. to adjust you need to do many welds and test your results and then oversize your work pieces so that after welding they are the correct length. This is important for high tolerance work. Most people will not have this problem but even Auto Body repairs must be performed within 2mm for correct OEM alignment specifications. Most shops perform sloppy work but that is why there are suspension alignment adjustments. If the situation was extremely important and no adjustment is possible then you would have to test your shrinkage on scrap material and make the parts larger before welding.

      Engineering should have fit up as such that the shrinkage leaves you with the desired dimensions.

Когда в сварной конструкции десятки швов, нет времени на рефлексии по соединениям встык, общая геометрия и подыгрывается выставляемыми зазорами. Для идеальной же размерности существуют кондуктора, прочая производственная оснастка и сварочные роботы, которые проходят швы в идеальном соответствии техпроцессу.
