VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Their only regret is not doing this sooner! Meet Bedu, the bus named after the Arabic word for desert nomad. As someone who is half-Egyptian, Moshera finds incorporating this name incredibly special. Alan and Moshera welcome viewers to Bedu the Bus for a full tour!
Functional Kitchen
Welcome to their kitchen! It's super functional, used multiple times a day for cooking. The layout is efficient, with everything organized around the stove. They have a convenient sink with a swivel faucet, a three-burner stove and oven combo, and a full-sized apartment fridge that stores up to two weeks' worth of food. The ample counter space is perfect for prepping, and their pantry and drawer storage keep everything tidy, including their cat food and supplies for their two pets.
Cozy Living Room
Their living room features a pull-out couch with plenty of storage underneath. It doubles as a guest bed. They also display postcards and photos from their travels. On the other side, they have a dining area and workspace. They rebuilt this section, adding storage for their hiking gear and outdoor equipment. Their tiny wood stove, tiled beautifully, heats the front of the bus, supplemented by a diesel heater in the back for extra warmth.
Bathroom & Closet Space
Their split bathroom setup includes a composting toilet and an Ikea cabinet and sink combo. The toilet plumbing keeps things simple, and the closet space here is perfect for bulkier clothing items and houses their electrical breaker box. Above, they have an AC unit powered by solar and a backup generator.
Shower Area
The shower area is functional with cedar planking to reduce mildew and a tub-style base. They mainly use it when hooked up to water and drainage facilities due to their smaller gray water tank.
Remote Work Life
When they first hit the road, both had remote jobs. Alan’s background is in human resources and corporate operations. Bus life has changed their perspective, pushing them towards financial independence and early retirement. Alan now runs an e-commerce shop called Drift Ways, selling Arab-themed merchandise, while Moshera works remotely in customer service for a software company.
Main Work Area
Originally designed for bunk beds, they converted this space into their main work area with a butcher block desktop. This area includes a nook for their cats and plenty of power, thanks to their 800 amp-hour lithium batteries and nearly 1500 watts of solar on the roof.
Bedroom Comfort
Their bedroom features a queen-sized bed with storage underneath for their battery bank, electrical system, and water tanks. They’ve added plenty of space for clothing and some cat-friendly features like stairs for their 20-year-old cat. It’s their favorite spot, equipped with a TV and video game console for relaxation.
Outdoor Storage & Roof Deck
They have outdoor storage boxes for gear and their propane system, which powers their oven and on-demand water heater. The roof deck is perfect for stargazing and additional storage.
Their only regret is not doing this sooner. The road is full of incredible sights and a supportive community. No matter your travel style, just go for it-the hardest part is deciding to start. Everything else will fall into place. Thanks for checking out their bus! Follow them on Instagram or TikTok at @BeduTheBus. Thanks so much!

My dear, your gown is so elegant!
I agree❤
Beautiful bus sweet couple.
Nice people, nice bus. I hope they enjoy what they have for as long as possible. I have to say though, the one thing I have started to notice with all these bus builds is that the layout seems to always be the same. Perhaps there just isn't much else you can do with the limited space. But it would be good to see someone doing something completely different with a bus for a change.
I agree! The kitchens seem to be pretty normal size in the tiny house videos I've watched. I prefer a U-shaped kitchen, so not as much space is used.
Yes, this layout is the most space saving and that's important when you don't have a lot of space. We tried to design multiple different layouts , like the one with a u shaped kitchen, and hallway on the side, and they waste more space than the hallway down the middle.
They have a very beautiful home on wheels.
Wow your bus is beautiful😮
LOVING THE VIBE, LOVING THE BUS ❤
A 20-year-old kitty is amazing! This bus is so cozy, cozy, cozy. I love the whole aesthetic of it, including the outside color. The bathroom is especially nice with the wood/black backing. I love the dress that she is wearing, too. So pretty! Wishing this lovely family continued safe travels and a happy, long life on the road with their precious kitties.
Great skoolie and adorable cats! Really this is one of the nicest skoolies I’ve seen!😊
That wood stove is adorable! I've never seen one so tiny!
You're a positive force! 😊 - "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."
Great job guys 🤗❤️
I love it, I love it, I love it. Love the large sink, the separate bathroom and shower and the wood burning stove. It is so cozy to have a fire burning on a cold night. I love that you have a large fridge too. The only thing that I would get that you don't have is a washing machine. That way I could go completely off grid.
That storage under the queen-sized bed is clutch for keeping the battery bank and water tanks tucked away.
Wonderful!
Very nice bus Tiny Home,
It's very cool you have a composting toilet that you don't need to carry buckets of ur #2 and #1
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊
Love the bus! What a sweet couple!
Thise small wood stoves do seem very efficient, A lot of heat for a small amount of wood. Most people get one of those small fans that actually runs on the neat itself to circulate air around and away from the stove.
BEAUTIFUL ❤️
Very nice!
beautiful gown and your home is amazing.
Your bus home was really nice ❤Happy traveling.
Great Job on your Home ‼️ Enjoy 👏👏👏
Love your set up

COOL!! Well done, sweeties! Stay healthy, stay strong, stay safe!!! Lots of luck, also for the furries!
Love from an old rebel-Pinkie
Add baskets for the food up top then it’s easier to take down and neater
Love this vidio
Love all the storage underneath! Because why woyld you not???
I've also watched the video of the original owners lol a few years ago
do you tie down the solar panels on the roof, they'd create a lot of drag when your driving & lower your
mpg
School buses have such a low fuel mileage, you can't lower it any more haha. No need to tie them down.
