- David Smallbone is a husband, father of seven children and a music manager. He is the father of Luke and Joel, who teamed up to form for KING & COUNTRY, and Rebecca, now known as Rebecca St James.

Releasing in Australian cinemas on 30 May, 'Unsung Hero' tells the astonishing story of the Smallbone family. In 1991 they moved to the USA with seven young children. Despite difficult circumstances including multiple failed job opportunities, the family stuck together and now use their artistic abilities worldwide.

Movie was an absolute blessing and encouragement to Christian families. Such a moving testament by David Smallbone. How impactful was his acknowledgment of the change putting Jesus first in his life and how that changed the course of his life. Great testimony regarding his marriage and the strength Helen brought to that. Inspirational.
