This is just a fictional backstory that I thought of after finishing the game and encountering menderbug. Hollow Knight is one of the best indie games out there and I enjoyed it so much.

Let us remember that Menderbug resisted the Infection better than an entire team of learned scholars, a wise sage, a fleet of soldiers and 90% of Hallownest's citizens.
He has no desires, he is happy and content with his life. He only really expresses annoyance when you break his sign, and even then it brings new meaning to his life. This does mean, having gained desire, he is susceptible to infection though...oh no...
Oh no he's a vaccine tester and hallownest is just full of antivaxxers

@@zeiccia I think the title hints more at the cameo Hornet makes at the end, rather than the whole thing being centred around her. It seems to mainly be centred around Menderbug, if you ask me

The riddle was not in the video. I had this animation as not listed before and gave the people a riddle in the comments of my last video that I posted 2 weeks ago, and the ones who solved it correctly got the link out of it.
