*Fun fact:* in the real audition, Renée was actually sent the material the night before. Lin wasn't sure she'd be able to perform it well considering the short notice, and then she absolutely smashed it!
And she was the only primary cast member who had to audition!

I don't think Patti Lupone would put up with this type of satire. She even said once, "she doesn't like playing any games," even though it's for fun. She is a straight-laced professional who wants to sing the best she possibly can for an audience. For example, when she was doing "Gypsy" on Broadway, she had to stop the whole show. Some people were taking some photos of her while on stage with a flash. She said, "you heard the announcement, 'no photography of any kind.' I want you out of the theater," and they did. In another instance, Patti went to a woman in her seat who was using a cell phone during another show. Furthermore, she took it upon herself to take the phone out of the woman's hands. At the end of the show, she had someone return the cellphone to that woman for her. Why would you spend all that money on a Broadway show and not even bother to watch it? That makes no sense at all.
I can understand Patti's point about flash photography during a show. It can be very distracting to the singer on stage, especially when she is trying to concentrate on her performance. That is so stupid and inconsiderate from the people who did that to her. It seems there are no ethics or any sense of decorum when people go to any show. For example, I went to see the opera "Aida" by Verdi here in Seattle, and the woman next to me decided to play a game on her cell phone while the opera was going on. I am surprised nobody complained about that type of rudeness. Again, why would spend all that money on that fantastic opera, and you decide to play a game on your phone? If you are not interested in seeing it, then stay home. You are wasting your money and your time doing that to yourself.
@@DRaymore44 I totally agree about Patti. But she does have a sense of humor. Kelli O'Hara has done one. There's hope! Audra has a great sense of humor too and I hope she does this. Let's keep our fingers crossed anyway.

When I heard Renee in Hamilton my heart stopped, her talent, her voice, her presence stopped the show for me. I can listen to her over and over and hear differences every time. A shinning star.

Peggy / Maria's time on the scaffolding is rather underrated, I think. First Act: It's a sweet narrative that suggests "Peggy...she was always just hanging about" where as Act 2, it changes up to "Over there, there's that woman!. Hm. She's always hanging around..."

Fun Fact: Renee and “The Bullet” we’re very close and the directors didn’t who to give the part. They ended up giving it to Renee, and made “The Bullet” role. “The Bullet” says “I saw him up Broadway” telling Phillip where he will meet who will kill him. Phillip is literally talking to death! Whenever any one get shot she grabs the bullet to take it to the person. Look out when you watch it next, but I know a lot of people already know this!
this is crazy!! i'm a hugeee hamilton fan and i never knew this! listened to the whole soundtrack up, down, inside out, watched it on disney plus multiple times and just saw the broadway live last month and i never noticed that. i didn't realize it was the same actress, that's so cool!
