Nice to see Twisted Colossus in Elite. As someone who’s been to Magic Mountain a bunch times and has ridden the original Colossus a bunch of times, the new Twisted was AMAZING. They turned what was basically a standard coaster into something that was actually FUN! It really did become my favorite ride there, surpassing the divisive Scream lol

I agree for the most part, but context matters (actually I just want to defend Viper from the tear down crowd), that is, of the context is a ride you grew up with which used to have long lines and thrill you then now has no line and sparks memberberries then that's a tier upgrader, to me. Viper = A!

I'd personally switch Goliath with Apocolypse The Ride (it's way to bumpy to be in A) and put Tatsu in Elite. Other than that solid list 🤘🏻

Yea, I dont see the hype around tatsu. For me its an A/A+ coaster. The graceful elegant inversions is what I like, the intense pretzel loop is ok but it doesnt blow me away. Also I dont know if I would call it a terrain coaster, it does not interact with terrain, the terrain just forces a nice view, I guess you could argue either way. :)

Not sure if you haven't been on Goliath in a while. I've been on it 4-5 times in the past 2 months and the train never came to a complete stop on the brake run, it was extremely fast through the second half.

vids have great quality for a smaller channel, biggest advice from someone who was once in your spot, consistency is key, start an upload schedule if you don’t have one already. Advertising in any way possible is also a big help. Hope you keep growing man

Tysm! We have been keeping to a tight upload schedule of 2 days a week and it’s working very well for us. Advertising is a lot harder in the coaster community because there’s not a lot of good places to do it. I have been brainstorming a lot of ideas and haven’t found a really good way to find viewers of the niche other than the CZcams algorithm.

S: full throttle (it doesn't feel short and the trims make the airtime stronger), Tatsu (better than TC for now), Twisted Colossus, WWFOC, X2 (duh)
A: apocalypse, riddler (its good cry about it), superman, viper, west coast racers (overrated as heck but not B tier)
B: batman, goliath, revolution, scream
C: goldrusher, ninja (haven't ridden in a while, so it might get higher)
D: canyon blaster, road runner express
F: magic flyer, speedy gonzales (worst coaster ever)

Have a great time. I'm from The Bay but I've made MM my "home" park. Discovery Kingdom is really a family-oriented type of park. The only real stand-out rides there are Joker and Medusa. Both of which are pretty fun

@@RCETown with apocalypse it was honestly just the fact that instead of the lap bars going to your lap they go straight into your stomach so it feels like someone is performing the Heimlich maneuver on you, I love rough wooden coasters and this one wasn't terribly rough.
For Viper, I didn't think it was all that rough either but the forces in the inversions hit my neck weird which I felt for a couple days. Also the transitions were pretty bad. Never been a huge fan of arrow loopers.

Tatsu is S tier for me, with X2 and TC are the big three at MM.
Viper and Batman are F tier. They are horrible rides and need to go back to hell where they came from. Especially viper. There’s a reason on a packed day, every ride will have a two hour wait, and viper is 10 minutes

@@RCETown I love X2, not a teen anymore but still love the intensity, it's the most extreme ride I've ever been on. Tatsu also is a favorite with that amazing Pretzel Loop.
Batman's just... not good. It's intense just to be intense if that makes sense. X2 is cool because of the drop, etc, Batman just flings you around with no purpose over and over again.
I won't go on Batman anymore, but my friend (in his 30s like me) went on with my 15yo cousin, and it messed both of them up for the rest of the day. It just messes with your head.
Also, I grew up on Top Gun / Flight Deck up at CGA, and love that ride. It's short but sweet and far better than Batman and Silver Bullet at Knotts. It's super smooth, has a cool fly over the lake, and doesn't mess with your head like Batman does.
