- Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter fights a plague-ridden vampire with a sword his hunchbacked assistant forged from a steel cross. Watch for the "behind the back" attack, how Rob Roy learned the "grab the sword" gambit and the ever popular "use the hypnotized innocent victims as human shields" move. Damn I miss Hammer Films!
Great scene. I heard the director was told he only had less than three days to shoot this sword fight before they struck the set. He was less than pleased when it stood standing for like a week after. Considering the lack of time he had to work with, I think he did an excellent job. Thx for posting.

WOW! Look at 0:46... William Hobbs actually does a matrix move and checks Kronos' sword from BEHIND his back. That's impressive!
The technique is called The Scorpion, it's merely showboating, but it does it's job by looking good when performed right, William Hobbs would later have the attack actually land in the Rob Roy fight scene where Tim Roth does it to Liam Neeson and it actually connects.
