Have to admit I feel abandoned right now. My dad, grandmother, and my wife (the love of my life) have all passed away in the last 3 months. My heart is shattered and I feel God has left me. All I think about is how much I wish God would take me home, so I can be with Him and see my wife again.

I'm sorry to hear that my friend. Truly.
I know what it's like to have only a HOLE where your heart once was. It's like a nasty contradiction of being FILLED WITH A VOID.
However, whilst I don't know you, or your loved ones, I'm sure they'd be PROUD AS CAN BE if they see you trying to get through life, and making the most of it.
      Stay strong my friend.

Sooo many People dissapoint God by
      never watching Atheist-Channels.
Indeed, they avoid them like the 'Deviiiiil!!!', which is just embarassing, to be all frank here.
      Limiting yourself is bad enough,
but surrounding yourself with Yes-Sayers? Surrounding yourself ONLY with 1 kind of people and only
      those that share your Religion?
Yeeeeah, i think that's called this thing that all Experts ever warn of... uhm... 'Echo-Chamber'? Is that the word?
      I think so.
So why? Why do you avoid Atheist-Channels and ignore their valid Questions
      and/or valid Criticism?
What are you waiting for? Learn more and more!
IF your a Christian, limiting yourself so you never watch Atheist-Channel is the worst thing you can do
and even old Texts say 'Only a Fool of a Man drinks his Water from just 1 Fountain' (which talks about Knowledge).

At 18, after many years of chronic debilitating pain and health issues, there are times when I have felt like God has abandoned me. Yet, more and more each day I feel that He is all the more near. I know that His judgements are right, and out of faithfulness He has afflicted me. (Psalm 119:75) Many of my questions regarding suffering and the purposes of God have not been answered, and they likely will not be until Heaven. But I remember a quote from C.S. Lewis's book, Till We Have Faces: 'I know now, Lord, why You utter no answer. You are Yourself the answer. Before Your face, questions die away. What other answer would suffice?' Indeed, before His face, questions fade away. Hold fast to your faith, even if you do not feel He is near. He is between us and the edge the whole time. Steady onwards.

1corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Our hope in God or revelation of God should not be on the things of this life only.
Now, the scriptures says that the heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to the children of men.psalms 115:16
Most of the the issues we have here on earth are based on either the actions or inactions of men.
Now, God has made certain provisions and behind those provisions, he has hidden solutions to different problems. Now anybody that understands and patiently follow those provisions or principles will arrive at an answer .
Take prayer for instance we are not meant to only pray we are meant to persevere in prayers but apart from prayers, there are other things like righteousness. Many people don't do righteousness, but it is the fervent prayers of a righteous man that avails much. James 5 :16.
Now most principles of God are enshrined in the scriptures.
So, like how long do you spend with the Scriptures?

Hi Michael James 1 verse 21 says we should receive with meekness the implanted words of God which is able to SAVE OUR SOUL (the seat of reasoning and emotions).
Faith comes by hearing the words of God. Romans 10 verse 17.
In addition to our prayers, you need to take on the Bible study therapy. It works everytime! Get a notebook and biro, be intentional about it. Ask God to teach you His words.

I felt like this because I’ve never had a supernatural encounter with God and I’ve never seen any big sign or wonder. From this I’ve started to lose faith and began to mourn because I felt alone and dead. But, I then decided to put my trust in the Lord and God saved me. He showed me that I must have faith in him no matter what, even if I feel and see nothing. Faith in God is NOT a feeling but a decision. God reminded me that the generation we are in now demands a sign so that they may believe but will get nothing because of their unbelief and faithlessness. We must believe ALWAYS even if we see no sign because the Lord our God is with us always even till the end of the age. He will be with us for eternity if we trust him and accept him. I’ve had two head thrashing experiences with God, one was when after I went back to an old sin, I felt fine for about 8 minutes, until the most gut wrenching horrible feeling of loneliness I’ve ever felt in my left. It was supernatural, it was unreal. The emotional pain and detachment and loneliness I felt was the absolute worse pain of my life. I wept bitterly until I cried myself to sleep, I woke up and prayed, and prayed, and felt no answer for a time, until I heard a video similar to this, and I prayed that prayer, and I felt a wave of relief, for at the time I feared for my soul. I don’t know if god really did abandon me, or if he did for just a while as a message, or still hasn’t returned to me, but this is my story.

I sincerely hope that by now things have been resolved. If not, don't give up Monica. I believe that God is a good God. I believe that God is full of mercy, grace, compassion and His love endures forever. It is my sincere prayer that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit will comfort you and give you peace as well as a solution to what's troubling you at work.
It was Jesus Who said that in this life we will have trouble, but to be of good cheer for He has overcome the world! I'm also reminded that apart from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit that we have no good thing! I'm also reminded that God doesn't willingly grieve humanity. He's not a sadist, i.e., He doesn't enjoy seeing us suffer. After all, Jesus Who was fully man and fully God when He walked this earth KNOWS first hand about pain and suffering.
I'm also reminded that if we abandon the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to whom can we go? Whom can we turn to? The world? Keep talking to Jesus; no matter how bad things seem. Talk with clergy, family and friends. Keep praying, fasting and reading the Word of God. The book of Psalms is of great comfort to me! Take care and God bless!

This has been my experience basically me entire 5 years as a professing Christian. I'm burnt out from it and have been dwindling downward for the last couple years. I'm bitter towards God. Even in the midst of fighting sin, it hasn't gotten better. I've stepped out and tried forming a relationship with my dad and it blew up in my face, I've radically thrown down idols all while trying to fill the spots with reasonable things or God himself and it didnt happen. The world has been hard these last couple years. Moving out on my own and being lonely, the blowout with my dad, going to a job I hate and with coworkers who think I'm an idiot. I DO NOT like myself. No seeming prospects of being married (overweight, socially awkward, emotionally deformed). I have NOTHING going for me. The world is hard to face and God is nowhere to be found. I have resorted to video games and food for distraction and self medication, because it gets my mind off of the reality or my situation most times in this world and with God. I still occasionally go go church and try to go more consistently, I'll read a couple chapters of the Bible here and there, but there's nothing I can do. I'm stuck, my only hope is for God to deliver me from this while I wrestle with being bitter and angry towards him and myself and this world. I'm basically done, if God doesn't come and get me I'm screwed.

I just feel like He is gone. Not because of a job, sickness, marriage struggles, etc but its like He took His Spirit away from me. There is no longer much of a desire to pray, read His Word, share the gospel, conviction. Jesus saved me out of religion and the last year its like He has been gone. I don't know if its because I was afraid to confess Him, denied my salvation(I thought I had been saved, this happened right before I was about to pastor a church that He saved me, so i battled back in forth if this was salvation or if I was already saved), began to look for Life in other things and now it feels as if all of my belief(not trust in Christ through the gospel) is gone.

    (Revelation 2:26-27; Revelation 20:4,6)
Counting The Days until "The End of the Days" (Daniel 12:11-13)
Daniel is told that "the wise shall understand" (Daniel 12:10) the counting of the days from "the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away" (Daniel 12:11) until "the end of the days" (Daniel 12:13), i.e. the relationship between Daniel's 70th week and Israel's Fall Feasts
Daniel's 70th week is divided into two equal halves consisting of 1260 days each (Revelation 11:3; Revelation 12:6)
There is a 30-day midpoint interval called "the midst of the week" during which time Antichrist breaks his covenant with israel by causing "the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (Daniel 9:27) and with the help of "his arms" (apostate Israel), he "shall place the abomination that maketh desolate" (Daniel 11:31 cf. Daniel 8:12)
Then will follow "the Great Tribulation" (the 2nd half of the 70th week), which was spoken of by the Lord (Matthew 24:15-22) and the prophets (Daniel 12:1 cf. Jeremiah 30:4-7)
"The midst of the week" (30 days) plus "the Great Tribulation" (1260 days) combine for a total of 1290 days (Daniel 12:11)
An additional 45 days yields a final total of 1335 days (Daniel 12:12)
During this 45-day period between the end of the reign of the False Christ and the beginning of the reign of the True Christ will occur the prophetic fulfillments of Israel's Fall Feasts
The period of 2300 days covering the times of the "daily sacrifice" and the "transgression of desolation" (Daniel 8:13-14) is explained via the Lord's parable of the "fig tree" (Matthew 24:32-33 cf. Matthew 24:1-2)
Israel's history is figuratively represented by three fruit trees:
NATIONALLY, she is pictured as a "VINE" brought "out of Egypt" which "filled the land" (Psalms 80:8-9)
SPIRITUALLY, she is pictured as an "OLIVE tree" (Romans 11:17,24) of which "the Gentiles have been made partakers" (Romans 15:27)
RELIGIOUSLY, she is pictured as a "FIG tree" under which Nathanael was sitting (John 1:48-50) - Nathanael, "an Israelite indeed, in whom is NO guile" (John 1:47) stood in contrast to Israel's RELIGIOUS "hypocrites" (Matthew 23:13-15,23,25,27,29) from whom the Lord (during his three year earthly ministry) "sought fruit thereon, and found NONE" (Luke 13:6-7)
The 1st half of the 70th week will comprise the rebuilding of the Temple (220 days) and the subsequent offering of the "daily sacrifice" (1040 days)
The "transgression of desolation" will stand during the reign of the False Christ for the duration of the 2nd half of the 70th week (1260 days)
Taken together - the time of the "daily sacrifice" (1040 days) and the time of the "transgression of desolation" (1260 days) combine for a total of 2300 days (Daniel 8:13-14)
Daniel is given to understand that he will "rest" (in a grave outside of Israel) and will "stand in thy lot" (land inheritance in israel) "at the end of the days" (Daniel 12:13) and so is told "to go thy way" till "the time of the end" (Daniel 12:9)Sealing of The Book until "The Time of the End" (Daniel 12:4-9)
Daniel is told to "SHUT UP the words, and SEAL the Book, even to the TIME OF THE END" (Daniel 12:4)
Daniel was repeatedly told that his prophecies concerned "the TIME OF THE END" (Daniel 8:17; Daniel 11:35,40), i.e. "the LAST END of the indignation: for the TIME APPOINTED shall be THE END" (Daniel 8:19)
John was given the exact opposite command: "SEAL NOT the sayings of the prophecy of this Book: for the TIME IS AT HAND" (Revelation 22:10)
The reason for the different instructions is that the apostle was physically transported by the Spirit of the Lord to the TIME of the DAY OF THE LORD and, so refers to himself as "your brother, and companion in TRIBULATION" (Revelation 1:9-10), whereas the prophet was specifically told: "Go thy way Daniel, for the words are CLOSED UP and SEALED TILL the TIME OF THE END" (Daniel 12:9)
At "the TIME OF THE END ... many shall run to and fro: and knowledge shall be increased" (Daniel 12:4)
The Hebrew word "shuwt" translated "run to and fro" is very closely related to the Hebrew word "suwt" translated "turn aside", i.e. a negative expression as in:
"turn aside to lies" (Psalms 40:4)
"I hate the work of them that turn aside: it shall NOT cleave to Me" (Psalms 101:3)
This apostasy is all the more acute for our text ends with the words, "knowledge shall be increased" (Daniel 12:4)
This "KNOWLEDGE" is in reference to what "the WISE shall UNDERSTAND" and that which "NONE of the WICKED shall UNDERSTAND" (Daniel 12:10)
It's "KNOWLEDGE" of the "SURE WORD of PROPHECY ... that SHINETH in a DARK PLACE (Tribulation), UNTIL the DAY DAWN (Millenium)" (II Peter 1:19)
The "MYSTERY (SECRET) of God ... declared to His servants the PROPHETS" (Revelation 10:7 cf. Revelation 11:15) has the testimony of "Daniel the PROPHET" (Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14) who spoke "by the Holy Spirit" (II Peter 1:20-21) that God's "INTERPRETATION thereof is SURE" (Daniel 2:44-45 cf. Daniel 2:26-28)
"The Man clothed in linen" occupies the central place "UPON the waters of the river" (Daniel 12:6) flanked by the "other two" - "one on THIS SIDE of the river and the other on THAT SIDE of the bank of the river" (Daniel 12:5)
"The Man clothed in linen" is "the CERTAIN MAN clothed in linen" Whom Daniel saw earlier in vision (Daniel 10:5-6) and is the SAME PERSON Whom John saw in his opening vision (Revelation 1:12-16) and Who identified Himself as the Lord (Revelation 1:17-18)
As the One Who occupies the central place ("in the MIDDLE") BETWEEN the "other two" - He is asked the question, "How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?" (Daniel 12:6)
"The Man clothed in linen" answers with hands "HELD UP" to Heaven - indicative of the DIVINE swearing of an OATH (Deuteronomy 32:39-43; Revelation 10:5-7)
The answer is very specific (three and a half TIMES), i.e. three and a half YEARS - a "time" being reckoned as a "YEAR" (Daniel 4:16,23,25,32)
The time of three and a half years specifies the length of time that is alotted for when "he (Antichrist) shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people (faithful Israel)" (Daniel 12:7) during which time "he (Antichrist) shall speak GREAT (BLASPHEMOUS) words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints (faithful Israel) of the Most High" (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:5-7)
This TIME will most certainly be WHEN "... for the children of thy (Daniel's) people ... there shall be a TIME OF TROUBLE, such as NEVER SINCE there was a nation EVEN TO THAT SAME TIME ..."
(Daniel 12:1), which is why the Lord reassures His own that "for the elect's sake" that TIME shall be mercifully BRIEF (Matthew 24:21-22)
Daniel's response to the Lord's answer concerning "HOW LONG shall it be to the end of these wonders?" (Daniel 12:6) was "I heard, but UNDERSTOOD NOT" (Daniel 12:8) and is again told by the Lord to "Go thy way, for the WORDS are CLOSED UP and SEALED TILL THE TIME OF THE END" (Daniel 12:9)
In his response, Daniel is like other of his brethren "the PROPHETS" who "searched diligently" (I Peter 1:10) concerning "WHAT MANNER OF TIME the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify" (I Peter 1:11) and "unto whom it was revealed, that NOT UNTO THEMSELVES, BUT UNTO US they did minister the things" (I Peter 1:12)
Israel's FINAL "SALVATION" spoken of by "the PROPHETS" (I Peter 1:10 cf. Jeremiah 16:14-15) was purchased by "the SUFFERINGS of Christ" at His FIRST ADVENT (I Peter 1:11 cf. Isaiah 53:6-10) and will be manifested by His "GLORY that shall follow" at His SECOND ADVENT (I Peter 1:11 cf.
    Zechariah 8:20-23)
This FINAL "SALVATION" spoken of by "the PROPHETS" (I Peter 1:10) will occur in "the LAST DAYS" also called "the LATTER DAYS":
JACOB'S BLESSING of "his sons", i.e. "the 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL" (Genesis 49:1,28)
BALAAM'S FINAL PROPHECY concerning "a STAR OUT OF JACOB" (Numbers 24:14-19)
The SONG OF MOSES sung by the TRIBULATION OVERCOMERS (Revelation 15:2-3 cf. Deuteronomy 31:19-22,28-30; Deuteronomy 32:42-45)
The Lord bidding Daniel to "Go thy way" (Daniel 12:9) strongly suggests that Daniel will NOT SEE his beloved Jerusalem (Daniel 6:10; Daniel 9:16) UNTIL his RESURRECTION when he will "STAND in his lot AT THE END OF THE DAYS" (Daniel 12:13)
The Wicked versus The Wise (Daniel 12:10)

For those who feel that God has abandoned them.
There are Four things I want to share now, and anybody who feels God has abandoned him is likely going through one of these Four things. Please go through these four things carefully.
    (1) The issues of sin. (2) Withdrawal of sovereign presence (3) the night period (4)oppositions
Let's take them one after the other.
    (1) The issues of sin.
Saul was a powerful King of Israel, but according to the scriptures he disobeyed God and it came to a point that the spirit of God left him, and God no longer answered him, not through prophets, not through Urim etc.1sam28:6
What causes this is, when someone constantly disobeys God, the conviction and prompting of the holy spirit, a time may come when those convictions dwindles. Like someone talking to you and you refuse to answer after awhile the person may stop talking.
If you are here and you were used to disobeying the prompting of the holy Spirit either to pray, read the Bible or do any other thing, or you were outrightly living in sin, Repent, ask for forgiveness, ask for mercy and the God of mercy will help you.
    (2)Withdrawal of sovereign presence.
When a child is born, the mother pampers and care for the child almost constantly. But as the child grows the mother will not carry the child all around as she used to do. If she does that the child will not learn to survive without the mother, and he will not be able to learn what he needs to learn.
After awhile the mother will take the child and abandon him in school with a stranger called teacher and other strange children.
Take note of that word abandon. But that abandonment is not forgetfulness. It's for the good of the child for the purpose of learning and it's for a period whether Long or short.
The children of Israel left Egypt under the sovereign protection of God but soon they hit the wilderness, just as many people hit the wilderness of life in their work with God.
Now, did God abandon the children of Israel in the wilderness? The answer is no.
But did go through difficult moments? The answer is yes.
There was even a time they felt God had abandoned them that they demanded for a golden calf; I pray we don't make the same mistake.
    Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the Rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
What to do this period is to trust he is with you, though you don't see him, don't give up because it's through faith and patience that we obtain the promise. HEB 6:12
    (3) The night period
The night period is almost like the wilderness period, the scripture says that weeping may endure for a night but that Joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5
The night period may come through the loss of a love one, lost of job, struggles and troubles here and there, you can't even understand certain things etc. When you notice these things, it's likely the night period.
There always a temptation to question God during this period.
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for you are with me.psalm 23:4
He did not stop you from walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but even in that valley he is with you, he does not abandon you.
What normally helps people in the night period is the light they have accumulated.
And by light I'm talking about the word of God which is a lamp and a light, Psalm 119:105 without this you may not be able to go through the dark period successfully.
    (4) Oppositions:
Oppositions include the hindrances, tests, temptations, exams that one needs to scale through to enter into the next level.
It's not sometimes funny and one may be tempted to ask "where is God?".
He is there watching what you will do.
Where you are during this periods listed about matters a lot.
The people around you also matter.
*Because if you don't have light and you are passing through the night period, you can share with the light of others around you.
*If God has withdrawn his sovereign presence and he is not talking to you directly, you don't feel him, at least you have the presence of godly people around you.
Prayer matters a lot when one is facing Oppositions, but if you cannot pray during this period, Others may help you in prayers.
The summary of all what I have written is that don't give up on God, I don't think he has abandoned you, he doesn't abandon his own.

I am 42 years old, and for the first 41 years of my life, the earth/world/nature/spirituality felt the exact same.
However, in the last year or two, I have been getting VERY strange feelings.
1.) It feels like God no longer has his hands on the wheel.
2.) I also (sometimes) get this INTENSE and PROFOUNDLY POWERFUL feeling from nature. I went into the forest at night-time in the summer, and that "nature at night time feeling" was SO INTENSE it literally frightened me. I don't frighten easily, either. I did mushrooms once, 20 years ago, and it was EERILY SIMILAR.
Perhaps it's just me, I don't know, but I just get the sense that God has lost his patience with the world. Frankly, I don't blame him.

      The Gospel of Jesus Christ
      The Character of God
      The Holiness of God
Your eyes are too pure to approve evil, and You cannot look on wickedness with favor. Habakkuk 1:13
But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. Isaiah 59:2
      The Justice of God
For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; the upright will behold His face. Psalm 11:7
But the LORD of hosts will be exalted in judgment, and the holy God will show Himself holy in righteousness. Isaiah 5:16
God is a righteous judge, and a God who has indignation every day. If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready. Psalm 7:11-12
The Depravity & Condemnation of Man
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment Isaiah 64:6
For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, ACCURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM. Galatians 3:10
      The Great Dilemma
He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD. Proverbs 17:15
Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly? Genesis 18:25
      God’s Action
While maintaining His holiness and justice, the Bible also affirms that God is love, and that in love He has responded to the plight of man.
      Motivated by Love
God is love. By this the love of God is manifested in us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:8-10
      The Cross of Christ
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26
      The Resurrection
He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification. Romans 4:25
      Man’s Response
Repentance begins with a recognition and confession that what God says about us is true that we have sinned.
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when You speak and blameless when You judge. Psalm 51:3-4
A genuine recognition of our sinfulness and guilt will also lead to genuine sorrow, shame and even hatred for what we have done.
For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. Romans 7:15
Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from this body of death? Romans 7:24
Apparent sincerity of confession alone is never definite evidence of genuine repentance. It must be accompanied by a turning away from sin.
Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil. Isaiah 1:16
therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Matthew 3:10
      Faith Defined
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. Romans 4:21
Faith Based on The Promises of God
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved Acts 16:31
      Example of a Believer
worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh Philippians 3:3
      The Basis of Genuine Assurance
True conversion: A true Christian is a new creation and will live a life that reflects God’s radical work of re-creation in his/her life. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? Matthew 7:16
Assurance is based upon self-examination in the light of Scripture. Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you unless indeed you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13
      Test of Biblical Assurance

Thankfully he sent Jesus to die for sinners and their sin so that God's justice can be fulfilled and he can offer grace and salvation to sinners without violating his character.

I don't buy the content of this video. When you have prayed for help for 8-10 years, all the while doing everything you know to do to resolve the issue or problem but turning over the outcome to God, praying every morning, night and during the day, worshipping God according to the practices of your religion, but receiving absolutely ZERO help, how can anyone with even half of a brain continue to feel anything but abandonned? How can they continue to believe in God at all? And what about the millions of believers who were murdered in Hitler's death camps or the thousands of innocent people being slaughtered in Gaza today by Israel's extremist government? I'm sure that most of them had faith that God would help them yet they were obviously abandonned -- if there is really a God at all. I want someone to answer this question other than a pastor, minister or priest who will invariably quote some scripture written by a human being thousands of years ago. I always believed in God, but after my experience I don't see anyway I can continue to do so. I'm tossing in the towel.

    Never!
Praise rises up across the earth: "Jesus is Lord and only He saves". 2 Samuel 22: 50 "Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, out of the countries, and I will praise your name.
    THE GOOD NEWS
Blood coming from all over his body and NAKED hanging on that cross like torture weapon! What a Lord and God and Savior! He had to do it. HE is God the Son and only His body and blood could pay the sins price of ALL ever! 1 John 2:1-2.
    JESUS SAVES
Mark 16: verse 15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." How can anyone hear the "good" news?
*Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God."
There is a CROWN in Heaven awaiting all who share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a soul is saved. See 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20; " For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? 20 For you are our glory and joy." Philippians 4:1 "Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved."
    The Birth Of Jesus Christ
Isaiah 7:14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal, the body was mutilated, the blood was poured out, but the bones were not broken, buried in a Tomb and risen on the 3rd day.
Isaiah 53:"5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"I am the way, the truth and the life: no one comes to the Father except through me." John 14.6
    "1 Corinthians 15:
    1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; (remember His blood and body He gave! Remember Him in all we do!)
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1:7
Matthew 26:28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the redemption of sins."
"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:2
Romans 5:8 " But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him."
“For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Ephesians 2:"8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting in His death and in the shedding of His blood as payment for our sins, as well as in His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day, and we will be saved! John 20:24-31; See 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
    Romans 10:
9 If you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is a blessing of all who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ Ephesians 1:13-14. This seal is permanent. Those who reject salvation,"perish"(John 3:16) which means their sins are judged and they suffer separation from God forever called the second death. Rev.21:8. We are here at this moment, on God's time given us in life to tell the world the truth: THE GOSPEL TRUTH.
