Beautiful environment, remember being 22 and not realizing it was hard to see in the dark! Like a backup camera after looking out of the windscreen for so long, takes a bit to learn the behavior of it, then to trust it. Now I get an abstract feel for what the first pilots to use radar were going through. How the heck do you prepare for mortal combat not knowing if it was a ME-109 or a CR42?
Il-2 1946 is still amazes me. CFS3 been modded to add working radar over the past year or so. These old radar systems take skill to use in CFS3. Il-2 radar is much more simple to use ,without having to use a external app to run this feature. IL-2 1946 and CFS3 remain my favorite air combat sims of all time. Been at it since the beginning and still none better for the money. New ones offer a lot of eye candy but still can't offer the content better, other than maybe SF2. Regards,Scott
