Confused by the spreadsheet. Taking the first row as example, BUY - SL = 80, so risk per share is $80, with a position of 60, the total risk is $4800. How did you get 6000 for risk? Same question for all rows.
    Shouldn’t the R multiple just be (256.03-221.77)/(221.77-141)=0.42?

In the long run, it’s about maximising R multiple. In Vsa, be in trade till trending structure is valid. Simple higher high higher low or lower high Lower low. This is the only way to participate fully in the trend.

      Yes it will be.
R multiple is calculated based on RIsk undertaken. For each trader, this figure differs.

Why do we use the risk amount instead of the SL amount?
    For example:
I risk $1000 buying 10 shares of a company at a price of $100ea. My SL is 90 and my TP is 150.
Using the method in this video my R would be 0.5.
    E.g. (150-100)*10=500 profit
    Divided by risk of 1000 = 0.5
But if I use the SL then the story is completely different.
Max possible profit per trade still = 500
My actual risk per trade is only $10 due to my SL.
    500/50 = R of 5.0
Can someone please help? Why do you use the total size of the trade and not the amount you actually risk via SL?

Hello Sir. Your mentorship continues. Thank you.
I am trying to calculate your risk above and I cannot figure out how your risk equals such even numbers. Based on the first line of data, the risk of the first trade is 221.77-141=R 80.77. I am assuming that "position taken" means how many shares you bought. So 80.77x60=$4846. How is your risk $6000? Based on a $80.77 p/share risk and a 60 shares bought, your R Multiple should be 0.42 I believe. What am I missing? As always, I am immensely grateful.

      Hi Sanket,
In your case, you can trade mix of Stocks and Index.
In stocks, you have better control over risk management.
In Index, you would be in futures which is at times difficult to manage in terms of Risk.
