I Stained it Black, Then Sanded it Off

I auctioned this table on Ebay, and it sold for $68.89.
I made this table with solid Oak wood. I stained the wood black, then sanded it. The sanding took the stain off the surface, but left black in the grain. The table is 32 inches tall, 24 inches wide, and 12 inches deep.

I've had some neat results using gel stain over paint, and lightly sanding where the paint shows a neat texture.
