This is my first time hearing this song fully plus the Angel's perspective, and it got me crying.. this song reminds me of my ma'am, the nanny that raised me alongside my mother.. she was a second gramdmother, friend in christ, and the whole world to me.. she passed away in September 2020 from old age and I wasn't allowed to go say goodbye to her in the hospital... He never missed my birthdays ive known him since i was 3. Whenever i had a math problme he'd set his work aside and help me on call. Everytime he plans to come to town id count days. My step father was the best person. He once told me that he'd come up from his grave for my birthday. So on my 16th birthday when he didnt come i knew things were bad. He was diagnosed with cancer. And he passed away on 1.01.2018. And i couldnt say goodbye. I wrote a letter gave to my mom asked her to read it. But she couldnt do that.. my mama said his last words were my name... he never made me miss my father. He protected me from scoldimgs had my back... . I domt remember the last conversation we had... he was my everything. Thank u for this song.

My daughter sang this at my baby sisters memorial-April 2016, after a 3 year battle with breast cancer, she passed 2 days before her 51st birthday. It was played at my oldest sister funeral a year & half later-she passed on Christmas Eve 2017 from lung cancer, a few months after my next to oldest sister went into remission from throat cancer. I know we’ll be reunited & walk the clouds together in the sky. I love you Janice & Joyce fly high my darling angels until me meet again

This is my first time hearing this song fully plus the Angel's perspective, and it got me crying.. this song reminds me of my ma'am, the nanny that raised me alongside my mother.. she was a second gramdmother, friend in christ, and the whole world to me.. she passed away in September 2020 from old age and I wasn't allowed to go say goodbye to her in the hospital... I know I was meant to find this song so she could tell me she's ok and to move on with my life.. and, as the song says, I will see her again one day, but I have a life to live first.. it doesnt make it hurt any less, but it's something to hold on to... I hope this song helps others feel reassured that their loved ones are ok just as it did for me..!

I wanted to use the two songs together for a funeral but only one thing is annoying...the abrupt ending of Mandi Fisher's piece at the very end of the video. Mandy has done an incredible job with the rewrite lyrics but it just cuts her short. Is there some way this could be redone that allows her final notes to echo away?

Thank you so much for this. I was never close with my biological dad. When i was 2 my parents got a divorce due to religious issues. But then my mom remarried to the best person that ever existed. He never missed my birthdays ive known him since i was 3. Whenever i had a math problme he'd set his work aside and help me on call. Everytime he plans to come to town id count days. My step father was the best person. He once told me that he'd come up from his grave for my birthday. So on my 16th birthday when he didnt come i knew things were bad. He was diagnosed with cancer. And he passed away on 1.01.2018. And i couldnt say goodbye. I wrote a letter gave to my mom asked her to read it. But she couldnt do that.. my mama said his last words were my name... he never made me miss my father. He protected me from scoldimgs had my back... . I domt remember the last conversation we had... he was my everything. Thank u for this song.
