This haybine is the best ! Ive reached speeds up to 22 miles per hour cutting hay. The only issue there is with that speed it automatically windrows the hay because the hay never has a chance to drop down to the ground before it hits the areas where its windrowed ( in the back of the machine ). And..... you still need to turn corners. So.......average speed ( if you trap gophers ) is around 12 miles per hour. Ive went to all grease in the gear boxes under the turtles. Its stays there.
If you twist off the hex shaft in the gear boxes... buy one from the local machine shop......medium hardness. 1/ 10 the priced at the dealer !

I have one of these; it’s pretty good but it’s kind of a pain to get to all the grease fittings. I’ve seen the same machine sold under different brand names so it’s been pretty popular.
