    Thank you for your craft. It is a gift to those that admire old world craftsmanship and above all..passion. I have a shortened Lenard 8’6 I bought from a garage sale years ago. Had the entire rod redone. It is a dream … there is no comparison to modern day rods.

    Oh I'm _definitely_ in for this. 🙂 I first learned to cast as a child with bamboo back in the 70's, because that's what my dad used. After years of fibre glass, carbon, boron etc in the 90's dwon to today I ended up with a couple of Bruce and Walker Hexagraphs. Because they felt most like split cane. I'd love a "modern" split cane so...
