The General Store in Partridge, Kentucky

We stopped by The General Store (AKA The General Store at Creek Crossing) in Letcher County, KY, and talked to Tiffany Scott about their shop!
The store has been there since the '70s, but Tiffany and her husband just took it over in 2020.
Their vision for the store is that it would be a place where the community can come together. Although you can buy practically everything here, The General Store is focused more on how they can make visitors feel than what things they can sell.
Tiffany invites tourists and locals alike to come and experience Appalachian culture at its finest. Our team could feel the warmth and hospitality of the staff as soon as we walked in.
The General Store sells tons of local goods and Kentucky-made items. The store is a certified Kentucky Proud business because of all the Kentucky Proud items that it sells.
Whether you're looking for fresh produce or a cool souvenir to take back home, The General Store has it all!
NOTE:
Tiffany wanted us to let everyone know that they have some exciting news. The store is moving! The move is bittersweet for the owners, but it will help the business to grow. The new location is directly at the cutoff to Band Branch Falls. The new store will be four times bigger and will have more parking. This move will help The General Store to expand its vision and promote tourism in the area.
