I met Cale at the preserve this year. Was driving around in a golf cart and just stopped and hopped out and shook mine and my cousins hand and had a few minute conversation. MN represent!
Went to the same highschool as Cale, and started playing discgolf at Highland aswell after school with the boys. He didn't mention but his uncle is Paul Molitor who is a Twins baseball legend, so his sporting pedigree is top notch. He had opened little prodigy shop a few miles away from the course and it was the first real disc golf store I'd seen. They had a speedgun and a wall with speed records. I think I remember seeing Ryan Sheldon or someone at like 96mph on the wall. I got my name on the wall with a 66mph forehand lol. It didnt last long unfortunately but that place helped get me hooked on discgolf for sure.
I've heard commentators and other competitors mention that a few times now. Pretty cool
I was lucky enough to watch Cale play at The Charleston Classic, and I was able to get some amazing photos. I know the disc golf community here in Charleston would love a championship level course designed by Cale for the low country.

I dated a women from Highland Park back in 2008. I remember driving through the park with that course. Took me another 4 years to try the sport.

Played King of the North and met Cale - what a laid back, chill guy. Definitely gonna get back up there next October. I encourage others to do the same.
Finishing it up - Sidenote, the King of the North stamped A3s are forehand magic. I don’t throw any other prodigy, but they went straight to the bag.
