I'm really upset as an LCK fan. I did watch on CZcams stream more, but the interactions were much more fun on Twitch. I'm even more upset because this also means LCK CL twitch is also gone. I always loved watching that because the casters directly interacted with the chat. It really made the stream so much more enjoyable.
I saw this coming pretty early Couldn't find LCK broadcast on twitch, instead I found it on yt. Knew something was going on and I was upset I couldn't use twitch emote during worlds. If anything I'm more surprised it lasted this long
Now the caster will just interact with the chat on CZcams, why wouldn't it be the case ?

@manuman5319 Not sure how the transfer will work for CL, but there is a reason the casters didn't interact with the youtube stream. 95% of the chat is flooded with Vietnamese bots. Maybe it will be better regulated next year, though

For those who didn't know Toyz smashed his ring because another streamer called him out for being a druggie and selling drugs in Taiwan. Toyz was invited by the government to the Taiwan streaming award and people were pissed at it.
toyz also did a lot of shady stuff other than selling drugs (weed). He left TPA because he was not happy about how the price money for S2 championship was evenly distributed (he think he should get more because he was carrying), he scammed his friend&ex-teammate Dinter a lot of money and he also caused a lot of drama in the taiwan streaming community.
@@kien8134 in his defence i believe it was not because he was carrying but because the substitute on tpa that did nothing got the same cut of the prize money as the rest of the players even though the sub was just a gold elo girl whose job was to be pretty
@@killerme09 The sub is called colalin, i believe she was around 2000elo back in the day (so probably diamond?), she did play a game and lose, but her job is definetly not "just to be pretty".
According to their contracts, they will have to give 50% of the price money to garena and split the remaining half, but garena decide to split 100% of the price money to all the players. Yes, I get why he will feel unfair spliting evenly with a sub, but literally slamming the door, leaving the team and causing TPA to disband right after they win is too far.

Caedrel is mistaken about the Twitch TOS for Simulcasting.
From Paragraph 11. Twitch TOS “Simulcast Guidelines”:
"You do not use third-party services that combine activity from other platforms or services on your Twitch stream during your Simulcast, such as merging chat or other features, to ensure the Twitch community is included in the entirety of the experience of your livestream."
You can absolutely read and even interact with the CZcams chat, you just cannot push/promote 3rd party apps that combine the CZcams chat and the Twitch chat. Caedrel could even use them himself as long as he doesn't show it.
E: It seems you cannot show CZcams chat on stream due to 'moderation issues'. Is that what Caedrel was referring to?

Man, as a T1 fan myself, I'm so happy to hear that Zeus doesn't want to leave T1 due to national pride reasons. He can't bear watching his home country get destroyed if he were to be in LPL. I have massive respect on him for that. Watching your country's teams losing to another country's team is one thing, but contributing to another country beating your own home country is REALLY something else.. I can't imagine myself selling my own soul to another country to beat the shit out of my country because that's what a lot of LCK players who went to LPL did.
Btw is it then safe to assume Zeus would NEVER leave T1? I can't imagine that there'd be another roster where Zeus and Keria would find themselves comfortable in honestly. They both have openly expressed their opinion about going to LPL and they sure as hell made it clear that LPL doesn't seem like a thing for them now so LPL is out forever now. It's just LCK teams that they might move to but I can't imagine any roster that would give them the same satisfaction as they have in T1 with all the infrastructure given to them, there's a fucking reliable leader like Faker in the team, there's all the great teammates that they have in the team (assuming they don't int, Oner especially).. and best part is they have all the sponsor companies giving them all sorts of free gifts THE WHOLE YEAR like perfume, 5 star service treatments, Nike shoe gifts, and soooo much moreeee. Like, THESE ARE ALL CELEBRITY TREATMENTS which they wouldn't get in any other teams as much as T1 gets for them. Let's say if T1 doesn't win 2024 Worlds, would they be able to find another roster that they feel like could win Worlds? I honestly can't imagine another roster being able to fit the criteria for Zeus and Keria. They're like headless chickens running around the rift doing almost nothing without Faker's shotcalls, can anyone else shotcall and lead them as well as Faker did?
I mean I completely agree on the privileges they have on T1, but say we start getting new prodigies on other LCK teams eventually and T1 starts falling off.

LCK have some REALLY fucking amazing rookies promoted, I mean look at Zeus, Oner, Guma and Peyz. Holy.... LCK's future seems VERY bright still. It's the problem of LPL's buying habit that tempts these prospects and might actually be able to buy them over. LPL is such a trash region honestly if they dont have any LCK players. If LCK gets backstabbed, it's really all on LPL. They're greedy motherfuckers with a lot of money and are willing to spend but they're not willing to spend on their own rookies and cultivate these young Chinese players who actually might have great potential.

The TLDR is that Korean ISP companies are charging twitch exorbitant amounts to increase their operating costs to the point it is no longer viable to do business in Korea for them so that domestic alternatives can replace them.

As someone who has been very unhappy for Twitch for a very long time, I feel bad only for the creators. Twitch fucked themselves over and tried to save money which just made them take more Ls. They saw it was expensive, made the viewing experience in Korea worse, then Korea noticed and started going elsewhere. A self fulfilling prophecy. Twitch said it was too expensive and it wasn't worth the cost, well they sure as shit dug their whole, shat in it, and then buried themselves in it. For all I care, Korea is good without them and I hope the Korean content creators find a healthy transition to CZcams or Afreeca.
Yeah that what I always hate from twitch, they're "trying to save money" but keep splashing money on useless thing and barely care about the growth of their creator which made them this big.

I just wanted to let Caedrel know, that if he does decide to stream on CZcams, and wants to make the chat a bit more enjoyable for the people on CZcams, there is an extension by @Ludwig which is basically trying its best to emulate twitch chat and overall the streaming experience. You'll probably have to look it up yourself because I don't know how integrating it will be for streamers.
The name of the extension is truffle, and personally, I enjoy CZcams streams a lot more with truffle, than without.
