Now it's replaced with B777-300ER
I miss those 747s here in MNL, but the 747s that go here are Korean Air, Asiana, China Airlines (pax and cargo)

Great planespotting video! huge like! many roosters nearby hehe! The terminal 1 is my favorite in NAIA cause it brings me back old memories since april 1993 when I arrived with a 744 of Air France... and i like the architecture style which is unique. by the way, I just posted a new video, with the B-16412 of EVA Air: desembarking from upper deck.. and walking alongside the gates, u can see the arrival of a Thai Airways 772! Oh, I really love the CF sounds during the take-off of china airlines 744! can't wait to see the part 2! :)

I was also spotting from inside the terminal waiting for my flight on Eva air in that same day.Jan 28 2016.
I remember when I was a kid. We had an educational tour at then Nayong Filipino way back 1998. Just beside the runway 13/31.
Then we had our lunch at the picnic table while watching those big birds land and take off.
Very memorable.

I am a Filipino and I wondering why did NAIA ATC won't let Airbus A380 Land
Racel Apuyan due to lack of space in airport. A380 is too huge its not enough on its space capacity to land unlike in B747.
I Think The A380 Can Land On CRK instead of MNL because of lack of space in MNL

It was just a test, NAIA can “technically” handle A380 but airport infrastructure can’t keep up with A380s capacity. Taxiing A380 can take quite a time too.

Sehr schönes Video. Ich war selbst bestimmt schon zehn Mal am NAIA. Mit den meisten Airlines bin ich mit geflogen. Auch mit China Airlines. Hat mich gewundert, dass diese eine 747 - 400 auf der Strecke Taipeh (Taiwan) nach Manila einsetzt. Da der Flug nur zwei Stunden dauert.
