    I got the baja interior in my 2023 F-350 and love it!

    I agree with you that the grill you have on your truck looks much better than the alternative

      Thanks, I still think that the last generation of SD looks sharper, but this grill I like the best of what's out there right now.

      @automotiveinquiries9673 I get that. sometimes, when the change is very dramatic, it takes longer for it to grow on you.

    Maybe they got it lined out for you.
    I agree about the TFL testing. They have gotten some better but they used to just push total weight with no regard to the size or type of trailer. Like for example the most recent 6.6 gas test is towing an absolutely huge 5th wheel toy hauler that’s 13’4” tall. Way too much trailer for a SRW truck but it is what it is with them.
    But anyway, good luck with this 7.3. I’m looking forward to the towing videos and don’t forget to update us on Big Red (Kong) again

      Hey Matt, thanks always for checking put the vids. I hope they do have it good. This next week, double tow test.
      As for Kong, checked with my buddy today, at 32k miles, only oil changes, no oil use, no issues. The stock tires, mainly the truck tows, he says he'd be lucky to get 45k out of them, but other than that, he ribs me about the issues I'm having and none that he has. Hope your rig is rolling strong, and thanks for being here.

      @@automotiveinquiries9673 good deal. I’ll be watching for them.
      My truck is still doing good. Just turned 45000 miles yesterday. I’ll be buying tires this fall or winter. Undecided yet on what to get. My factory good years (same as Kong) are at about 6/32 average tread depth. So still got a little left. I’m figuring on getting to 50,000 for sure. Maybe a little more.
      Still no oil usage and just no problems period to date. So it’s been so far so good. The new 10 speed is very tempting but man the equivalent 2024 LT truck as mine is nearly $10,000 more expensive. Throw in over double the interest rate as I have (2.89 vs 6.94 now from same place for same term) and I think I’ll just keep my 22 6 speed a little longer lol.

      This might help you. I have a 2024 Chevrolet HD gas. It’s going to the shop this week for the 3rd time. Very hard shifts on the transmission.

      I did the same. Ended up 2024 F350. 7.3 xlt. Loved some Chev features like dimming tow mirrors, power steering is effortless. But didn't like the step tailgate hitting the trailer hitch, a bump on the floor taking up leg room were your left foot rests, seats firmer. Worried about the 6.6 issues with burning oil and more labor on maintence due to design. Plus I was able to order a Ford with out lot's of extra crap to get what I needed. Chev had stuff I needed only in packages that built the price up and with all extra stuff not wanted.

      I went with a GM 6.6 gas. Was scared of 7.3 lifter issues and the 4A option GM has was a must have. I do miss fords sunroofs.

    Whats the MPG compared to your Kong 6.6 gasser driving empty?

    Two questions please …this is the exact setup I’m interested in. What is your payload on this and the ride quality vs the FX4?

    • @automotiveinquiries9673
      @automotiveinquiries9673 Před měsícem +4

      As for ride the fx4 has it beat, but if you need the off road water fording and the extra clearance then the tremor would be the better fit. As for payload, keeping in mind you would have to have the locker (regardless of rear end, to get the max towing ability) the payload for this exact set up is 3220 lbs (1460 KG)
