So I just bought myself a new pool cleaner. I’m trying to set it up and realize I have a suction port. I’m stuck on step 3 where it says attach the regulator valve. Do I attach it with the first connector hose off from the suction port? I’m a bit confused on that step.

Why does my Hayward pump operate at a idle and will not go up to pumping speed? It will go up to pumping speed. If I turn it off then on for only forty five seconds please help

Hi Joe, so the pumping speed you mention is the pump's prime cycle. You need to check your settings to see if they're set for lower rpms, or your local pool pro can check it out as well.
