I prefer how Smeye does their value with customs. They usually don't count it towards the value. Definitely another reason for me to not buy another Funky Bop box.
I got a free mystery box from him and enjoyed it and won some stuff off his Whatnot but not always the mystery box I would be after. Sorry you got some disappointing pops. I do like the Governor as a Walking Dead Fan :)
I'm glad you put it out there as you see it. If you aren't getting real value, the same pops then the boxes get boring fast. I hope we see better mystery boxes from other companies. My favorite is Boomloot.
Hey great video guys. Here's the thing I think about funky Bop I've seen a lot of people upset with them. Many channels I watch and to be honest they're trash. I don't like anything about them to be honest. I might be a little harsh LOL but it's the truth. Also you're not getting your value those cops aren't worth 50 bucks when they're customized they're not worth anything I can't see spending my money on a box where I'm not getting anything I like. Also I'm only collect one type of pop so if it's not Batman related I'm not going to want it and usually I have them anyway unless they're big hits. So for me mystery boxes don't make any sense. Usually it's overflow pops like you know the Pops that you get the same one and in the last three boxes. That's Overstock that they're just trying to get rid of. Or you get stuff that's still in the store that you can get for retail that they've already put on PPG for whatever they're selling it for. A lot of Pops from mystery boxes you can go on and look on eBay and see that their fair market Price is that the same as what they say they are. PPG is just a general idea of what they go for. Usually the pops are only worth what someone's willing to pay for them. Also you never get your money back out of them. If you take the box and you price out everything on PPG go to eBay and start seeing what they go for you're going to be surprised how much money you're actually losing. I can honestly take my money and go buy the things I really want and know that I'm getting exactly what I want instead of it being a mystery. I think mystery boxes are good for people who are just starting out and haven't dialed it on what they actually want to collect. I work Monday nights when Boomloot drops their boxes, so we only get them every now and then :) They usually have some fun boxes!
