Episode 14 Day 6 of my solo Oman adventure
After dropping my bike in the middle of no where on Masirah island, I thought I was going to be doomed. Luckily I didn't have to wait long and a car had passed with a couple of locals who came to my rescue. After receiving all their help with my bike, offering food, and water and a place to stay, I had a little emotional breakdown while filming. I actually had a full on revelation... I suddenly felt at that moment, that I had lived my entire life for this moment, for this time in my life. All the troubles and challenges I;ve been through in my past, have made me strong enough to go out on my own, and to be the compassionate being I am. To have this talent to capture the content that I do and to be able to share it with everyone. To show you what life and people are really like out there, to change the harden mindsets and the stigmas against people. I was overjoyed with Bliss and started to cry as I had this sudden realization. What a beautiful Gift my life is and that I may share it with all of you !!!

Lower gaze when there is women around, don‘t speak useless stuff, no insult, no backbiting, no slender, help brothers in need, hide your brothers mistakes, share your bread with them, and 100 other stuff.they were also staying away from sins like fornication, gambling, alcohol. Spend all their wealth for islam, their lives. They lived 24/7 like this.

“Shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise? Every weak and oppressed one. Shall I not tell you about the people of Hell? Every harsh, haughty and arrogant one.” (Tirmidhi)
@A R T E M I S H U N T E R I just gave an example of the attributes of the companions of the Prophet. And my point is you cannot compare christians and hindus to them ever. There are lots of books called "Zuhd" from the early times of islam, written by people close to companions, which are almost 1000 pages only narrating about the prophets and his companions piousness and good manners.
I cannot see similar things even in todays muslim community.
A doctor friend of mine had worked in a busy Omani emergency room for a year. And he shocked me swearing that he had not seen not a single victim of violence of any kind, in the whole long year. Compare it to murders, rapes, beaten wives and babies, drunk driving, street fist fights etc almost everywhere else. Salute from Pakistan.

Irkkan it’s also in the Islamic religion to be hospitable to others and treat visitors and neighbours well. You might’ve experienced bad experiences in India, but that doesn’t mean that they’re representative of their religion. And India is only just one country which may have many muslims but who’s to say that their culture also hasn’t influenced them? There’s also Islamic countries in Africa I’ve been to myself where even though some people didn’t have much, they would do whatever they can and display excellent hospitality. I’ve also experienced a great amount of hospitality in Indonesia too - the country with the most Muslims in the world.

InshyaAllah the reasons he became a muslim was not just because he wanted to marry me. He went to a place to get Qur'an and started reading and learning. Had a lot of coversation with my late father about Islam and asked a lot of questions. He said his Shahadat even without me knowing it, and in another town. Told me about it only after he did. He is a scientist, and he said Islam really makes sense 😊🌺😊
