I really like Horrortale AU, it's creepy but amasing~
AU author wrote that Sans received a serious head injury due to non-compliance with the law Undyne, so I made this video

Howdy.
This is a pretty good origin story for Sans' insanity. I guess in his numbskull, he had a sane and caring mind but when Undyne speared his head, he lost it and became a head-chopping psychopath!
Well by the time Horrortale takes place most of the monsters are pretty insane, and besides he only chops your head off if you fall for his trap lol
anime fan Yes, but according to the creator, Horrortale takes place after the neutral run where Frisk doesn't kill Sans, Papyrus and Toriel. However, they say that Mettaton was killed and Alphys committed suicide, which made Undyne lose it so she became empress of the Underground. That's when shit goes down when another human falls down. Things were just like Undertale before the neutral run but turned into a Tim Burton/Fran Bow-like horror world.

Don't hate me here. But what if it is Underfell Sans, that became Horrortale Sans. Only problem, Underfell Sans has sharp teeth.
Noel Banal Nah, wouldn't work. Underfell Sans just lost his humanity. He is not really a psychopath, just a nice skeleton turned evil. Horrortale Sans is pure psychotic.

Such an interesting Undertale AU wouldn't you think? All the monsters in the underground ran out of food resources and are dying out. It all takes place if what'll happen if Frisk never reset the world after completing their neutral run. So the monsters get their food by waiting potential humans that fall rather than eating themselves. =)

when frisk end the neutral route toriel became the queen but the monsters had a revolution and undyne was the leader of the revolution and undyne turned in the queen

Watching this again in 2023 and I still LOVE this. Literally, it's so good . This is way, WAY better than what happens in the official Horrortale comics, and they feel way more in character here than they do in the comics as well.

While it doesn't state in game his hp, Sans really does have 1hp. Data miners have found in the games code each of the monsters hp values. And Sans is at a measly 1.
