Hi Melisseson, many thanks for this video. Clear words, good explanation, unerringly. Reputable experience, without long talk. Thanks again from Germany, Eric.
bearing in mind Feedback is an audio loop involving a microphone and a speaker then just "cranking" the multitrack stem back into the desk, you could reach the top of the slider + gain pot and still you'll never get feedback, there is a little trick using reverb as a feedback generator but i'm going to leave you to work that out ;)
Check some points: on F4, are the output channels defined e.g. channel X32 1 and 2 out, is your stereo master on the same output X32 1 and 2, check the incoming routing on the mixer, select on one the mixer channels the soundcard is put on X32 chan. 1 and 2. If that 3 parts are ok, you should have monitor sound from Cubase. Good luck.
NICE VIDEO!!!, when you record in cubase, can you select to record pre or post? I want to know if the signals from each channel are streamed from the x32 to pc wet and recorded with the eq comp gate settings or dry. Do you think it is possible to set a live show with all the eq gates, fx needed on each channel, and be able to record all the tracks dry, so I can mix later next day, I would really appreciate your response.
As far as I no not. The routed signal to the FW/USB card is always just behind the preamp. All sound adjustments have only effect the master of the X32, but not on the card signals. Why don't you use your DAW to modify your sound, and use the X32 only for the recording and as a sound card?
Hello. Interesting... I use Cubase. Is the Behringer X 32 support ADM (Asio direct monitoring) ? In other word, do you have the possibility to have direct monitoring option in the device setup dialogue ?
i tried this last night..Couldnt get the return to the desk to work... Got the 32 channels IN... Im using cubase 4 on a mac. It was all set up properly. Nothing on return.. Weird... I suppose this isnt so much of a problem if Im recording a liv gig, but for the occasional studio session, I'll need to hear it !!!. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hey could you perhaps tell me how the master fader works in DAW control.. I have asked everyone but dont get any answers on this. Can I control my DAW master with the consoles master fader or do I assign one of the Bus faders for this? if this is the case how does work when I bank my channels in my DAW? Also are the faders touch sensitive or not? Hope u can answer cheers mate!
I got mine working but im not happy with the signal level the board its giving me. I have a focusrite interface with only two pre amps and it gives me way more signal, thats the down side of the mixer i think, and i havent find the way to fix it, you know something about it? i need help with that please, otherwise im returning it to the store. can you help me?
Has anybody done this over USB yet? I'm waiting to see before I buy one. I'm running sonar X3 on a PC. I only have USB 2.0 or 3.0 connections. I do not have a Firewire connector. Has anybody successfully recorded 32 channels over USB yet? Also is it possible to set 32 in and 32 out for virtual soundcheck?
Alle sporen separaat terugsturen is niet echt handig m.i. Succes
bear in mind you just started with a lie , or one type of feedback .. i mean , can it do no input mixer feedback , and the question as straight foward as it seems .. is really asking the question , can this digital desk handel the extremly loud sustained RED level clippin that feedback puts your mixer threw ... and not break ...

Thank you very much for this video!
It was really helpful!
Greets from Germany! :)
My man, U R a GENIUS. Thank U a MILLION
Cheers for the tips very helpful
killer ripper keep it up.
@TheRedEyeChannel no changes don t have affect. The signal just behind the preamp will be recorded, just as you want. Succes.
Yes, no problem. The standard card is 32in - 32out (by firewire or USB 2)

Amazing. Thank you
hello thanks for the video.what do you think of the build quality and sound quality
if you use the mixer in live with full band for 3 to 5 hours does the quality change
select the channel you want to change, go to the config TAB, push on the utility button, there you go.

Does it works and sounds good on multi VST usage?

Download the standard X32 drivers (USB - Firewire) form the Behringer website. Good luck.
can it do feedback ? run some outs to some ins and crank it
The recorded signal comes just behind the pre amp, so dry. Use your DAW or X32 to mix it. Good luck.

How did you change the colors, names, etc of the scribble strip. I cannot figure it out on my x32

Does changes done live affect the recording? Are the effects recorded as well? I'd prefer the recording as dry as possible and add effects later
works with fl studio and ableton ?
Did you get the dca control as a surface? I can't get mine to work as a surface in Sonar 8!
Is it possible to get all 32 channels back on the faders while mixing without buying extra cards?
no one tells me what to sampling the card works in multitrack ... 24 bit only 48? arrives to 96 or better to 128? 32 in and 32 out?

no experience with that software, but shouldn't be a problem. X32 functions as a normal external sound card.

Sry i Meant the --> Daw Remote
