I have been digging out of my house lol for the last 7 months and have not done a lot with my tarot not because I don't want to but because the house was in such a state I didn't think it was practical to read. And my brain was in a state (I'm spicy also.) I have got the star tarot as well and have had it for a while but it didn't sing to me when I opened it... It did zing me when I saw it and so bought it. My daughter, also a d&d player and dungeon master, used it and loved it and then when I saw it here I was like yep that's definitely getting used this year! I'm still trying to get the spirit keepers by Benebelle. I have been in this kind of black and white phase and I love the deck that you showed. I have to get that. I got two for Christmas, from my daughter that I just adore. One of them has pip cards and now I know what you mean! I hated that I had no idea this was a pip deck when I asked for it. After using it a couple of times I think it could still be useful. That's the black tarot. This one takes some getting my head around. But I still love the major arcane. And then the one that just really strikes home is the Bianco Nero tarot by Marco Proietto. Gorgeous and really spot on. I also really liked the garden witches one and a couple of the others that you showed the tabletop tarot. I'm so excited because I was really let down the last two Christmases with not much to ask for in the magical area of my life. I love your wooden drawers! Thank you for sharing. I have a small set of drawers that I have them all stacked in but I would love to give them their own space. I stopped keeping them out on the shelf because I have so many and people get really weird looking at me funny when they see them. I guess I'm still in the closet so to speak. I've missed you and your voice and your wisdom so it was really a special treat to see you here. 🎶🎶🎶🦋🦋🎶🎶🎶🦋🦋 I was always a super big vampire fan as a child... And I loved the interview with the vampire and Lost boy movies but I didn't watch the series. I started to go back to the dark shadows soap opera that got me started on it all and just found myself giggling at them. But there's one vampire I seem a bit obsessed with. I'm a little embarrassed because I'm 10 years older than he is but have you seen Christian Miconi? He makes me weak. I was having an international incident with him because of my spicy brain. One of his songs resonates really strongly with me and that is right now by Vlad in tears. He was really sweet and I was supporting him on patreon but I have offended him somehow many times I fear lol smacks my spicy brain against the wall.
Watching you showing your decks for the month, and how you've organized them, has inspired me. I'm going to get all my decks out, and create a new way to display and organize them. I want to see them, not have them boxed up out of sight. Im hoping i will use more decks regularly, and be able to more quickly and easily pick up a not so familiar deck, when i have a little time. I was so freaking thrilled when I found the little drawers years ago and then some more this year! The other drawers that I have a lot of decks in are the Ikea Helmer drawers. They're excellent and they have wheels
Such a bad influence Ethony!!!! Just as well I only really really like 2 of the decks you are showing! Such a shame though that most of them are quite difficult to get hold of in Europe / expensive to ship from the US / Canada. The creator of the Star Tarot for example does not ship outside the USA and I will have to go through the dreaded Amazon to get hold of a deck. So many wonderful creations out there!
Hi I'm going through my decks as well & I'd like to say I just came upon this indie deck I purchased last year : Aging Beautifully by Margaret Manning. It's Beautiful & very well made. Great images & Great description on the other side of the card. Telling you, VERY WELL DONE. I do recommend it. I'm working with this in 2024.
Happy January, Ethony. I am back to working with The Santa Muerte Tarot by Fabio Listrani as my main reading deck. I am also going to be using The Murder of Crows Tarot, and Tarot of Vampyres by Ian Daniels. For my Oracle decks, I have picked Faery Blessing Cards by Lucy Cavendish and Paolo Barbieri's Stardragons Oracle Cards. I am also reading/studying Secrets for Santa Muerte by Cressida Stone in order to get to know La Santisima better.
The Star Tarot is one of my faves. The Silver Acorn is all the inner child vibes for me! I need to get a copy of the new Liminal. The Lua is so gorgeous I need to work with that one more for sure! Thanks for sharing Ethony!
I just received the Fools Items Oracle deck and the Radiant Rider Waite deck. I am just starting a more formal spiritual journey and am so glad I found your channel. Thanks for all the info and enthusiasm you bring.
The newest deck I got in December that I'll be working with for a bit is the "This Might Hurt Tarot" by Isabella Rotman. It's the mass market version. This is my first RWS style deck and im excited to use it as im still learning the card meanings. I love the representation in this deck ❤️ The Tarot of the Witches Garden caught my eye though 👀
I was planning to work with the tea leaf oracle this month so I’m trying to find the decks to go with it. I can’t stop thinking about the Celtic dragon tarot which is so unusual because I never want to read with it but now I totally do lol. So I’m thinking Celtic dragon and tea leaves. Forhaxa too. Those are the ones I’m sure about. Happy New Year 🎉
