I love Shane's style, does not get wrapped around showing how good he is but rather focusing on how the student can actually play the song. Many guitarist are more interested in their talents rather than helping the student. Great Job Shane!!

I agree with Roger. I'm a beginner turning intermediate and your style is perfect for me. i like when you keep going over certain points and get close ups of strings and picking or chords. Also when you play the song at the right beat just to give a sense of what is trying to be achieved is great because your not showing off. I flip between you and Marty Music mostly for help. Much appreciated. Your teaching...not showing off.

I just think you should play the song first so I can hear how it's played, then go to teaching

Ha! It probably appears that way - I wear that crazy sleeve on my right arm because I can't play in a short sleeve shirt....I need to be able to move my arm around freely while strumming.....I find I stick to the guitar if I don't have a sleeve on.
      Cheers!
